i agree it was a one-sided argument all the time, but there was no lies at all in his arguments... and the purpose of the movie was that: to show what the political situation in the US with Bush was... i think he succeeded in showing that although - as i said before - he didnt succeed in changing people's opinions

Farhenheit 9/11 was very well done (in my opinion) and it really showed what the Bush administration has been doing in the last years

yeah, he's clearly one sided, but he admits it: he always says that his intention is to "denounce" Bush administration's policies and how they are done against population as far as I have read, he's always trying to "open the Americans' eyes" to reality (not very successful though, as we saw in the last elections...)

Exactly, buddy... Church is the biggest anti gay institution in the world and they keep getting all those scandals of priests sexually abusing of boys: they are against gay people, they consider being gay as a sin, as a mental distortion... and they have so many gay priests (which is fine BUT they commit a crime because they abuse of boys) how hypocritical... -

wow, how "polite" and "considerate" for their families, right? gosh, things like this just make me wanna vomit... how cruel and unfair actions like the one u mention are... -
yeah, it is amazing how much money is invested in this illegal war and invasion (and in many others) when that money could perfectly be used to save other people's lifes which are in real danger... we human beings are so selfish...

that's funny ;) in the last spanish elections for the first time there was exactly a new party called Marijuana Party ("Partido por la Marihuana") and actually they got a lot of votes! I'm not voting either, obviously... but if i was a Canadian i would definetely vote for a left party (as I do in Spain)

"thanx" for being so helpful with info about the new 30 seconds to mars' album... of course i have read the post (it offends me that you doubt it), i was just asking if there are any recent news about them or about the album, if someone had been able to download some songs and listened to them (because I havent)... but it seems that i was asking for an "impossible" request or a stupid question: something as simple as asking for opinions from people seems not to be right this time... just feeling a bit disappointed at some unfair people's responses... (i could perfectly answer u in a VERY rude way for being so rude and unpolite with me, but i wont waste my words in such a childish and stupid reaction, in my opinion...)

Have u heard about his new book? What do u think about it? Will They Ever Trust Us Again? Michael Moore, the acclaimed filmmaker and #1 best-selling author whose latest movie, Fahrenheit 9/11 , is the highest-grossing documentary of all time, will publish a collection of letters written to Mr. Moore by American G.I.s in Iraq and Afghanistan. The book will contain introductory material from Mr. Moore as well as additional commentary through-out. The letters were received by Mr. Moore over the last year, many of them were sent to his website. Regarding his collection Mr. Moore said, "I'm proud to give voice to the troops who have written to me."

Musical Renaissance?
juanpe replied to no yu begin wher i end's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
I do it too... pretty often... i have found myself getting oddies from Depeche Mode which are around 15 years old in the last weeks (pretty cheap, of course) and I keep on listening to a lot of music from the 80's and 90's more than the last bands (except from some, it's true) don't know, i listen to many recent and current bands but for some reason I get tired of them pretty soon and easily and in the end I always finish up listening to old stuff... guess it means something about the quality of current music...
