  • Amusing Quote or Song Lyric
"It's a Long Way Down, You Know it's a Damn Shame the Sun don't Shine Underground"~Matthew Good "Take Me Out, Take Me Out I'd Love to Follow and Everything that we're Afraid of is Hard to Swallow....So Crawl it"~Serene
  • Favourite MG(B) Song
A Long Way Down (at the moment)
  1. "Poor Man's Grey" is a good one......Actually most of WLR&RR is very politically straight-forward. It's easy to tell that Matt wanted change and he didn't want to wait for everyone to decipher his work.
  2. Donnie Darko is probably the greatest movie ever made (in my opinion)...it deals with just about every human issue and how each is interwoven......if you haven't seen it, just go buy it.
  3. Starsky and Hutch was great, but nothing beats the shot at the bush administration at the end of Anchorman..haha, i cried
  4. I thought it was brilliant. It's a rare thing to see real compassion in a movie. Beautiful.
  5. meh...it was ok....if your bored..
  6. Has anyone actually read the Lord of the Rings....it's unbelivable...and the movies did an amazing job ...so much Reality in Fantasy...Lord of the Rings all the way...
  7. I thought Napolean was hilarious....he was probably the most socially awkward person i'd ever seen and he had no idea. I think the movie gave you a look at what it's like to be in a socially awkward position and feel comfortable. You have to try and not take it too seriously, just sit back, stupify yourself for an hour and a half, and laugh. (Though i agree that Kipp [the brother] and the uncle were crappy characters)
  8. Is everyone as excited as I am for this movie? I find Tim Burton never let's down....and Johnny Depp is brilliant.
  9. Haha...I Loved it...I thought it was an amzingly well written movie...it had a lot of originality, but stayed familiar enough to not be taken too seriously. I'd probably give it a 4.5/5....great movie
  10. I thought it was well put together....I haven't read the books, but from what i've heard they weren't too far off. It was by no means a masterpeice, but it's worth watching.
  11. I can't wait for this movie..I Love the books...and the movies thus far have been amazingly well done.
  12. I enjoyed the album...it wasn't break through, but worth picking up...."work" is probably my favourite track
  13. That is tough.. Donnie Darko The Royal Tenenbaums Lord of the Rings Punch-Drunk Love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Edward Scissor Hands (Actually anything by Tim Burton) Harry Potter and anything with Kevin Spacey or Russel Crowe in it These are all Movies people should check out.... oh...and for fun, the incredibles...haha, awesome movie
  14. Hmm...... "A Long Way Down", "While we Were Hunting Rabbits", and "Ex-Parts of the Blue Mountain Symphony Orchestra" But that's excluding all MGB stuff....That's a much longer list. ;)
  15. It really wouldn't be fair to judge all of NF based on this one thread, which a hand full of people decided to use to prove how big of assholes they are. And, I'm sure that once an administrator gets here, they will be dealt with. If you read the last line that you quoted me, it sais that i didn't mean everyone.... Absolutely no offense to anyone who sticks to the topic at hand and keeps their comments civilized.
