    yeah, i see what youre saying i read fight club after i saw the movie, so, while it was a good book and all, it was less impressive than it would have been i think if id read it first its cooler to have your own vision of what the characters look like rather than a movie star, and your own vision or scenery and whatnot

    i think its gonna kick ass.. tim burton rules, johnny depp rules.. i hope they make the oompa loompas less creepy than in the original, but im not gonna hold my breath

    thats pretty disappointing to hear, cuz the book is almost always BETTER than the movie

    they did an awesome job on the shawshank redemption, but i think stand by me was an even better adaptation.. it was almost word for word with the novella i didnt really like apt pupil when i read it, but for some reason i decided to see the movie anyway.. and i didnt really like it, either

    i just finished the third book in the song of ice and fire series by george rr martin.. amazing books, some of the best ive ever read.. but so fucking long
