you know, we had much music for awhile, before they changed it to fuse, and anytime i just flipped past it they would be playing the same crap as mtv, so i just assumed it was mtv canada. never even crossed my mind that there could be good canadian bands on there. ;)

from saturnine, a year or so ago <shrug> i'm american, hardly anyone knows who he is here, as a solo artist or with mgb. if saturnine hadn't shared stuff with me, i doubt i would ever have heard him and it hurts me to think about that.

i hated mer de noms the first time i heard it so i waited more than a year to listen to it again. i kept expecting it to be the same with thirteenth step, but that one never really grew on me.

agreed, although i only have two of their albums... i agree with satty about limblifter, as well, cuz the first time i heard it i hated it and i thought they sucked donkey ass but the more i listened the more i realized i couldn't keep their goddamn catchy songs out of my head. bastards. other than that.. the dresden dolls are the first thing that comes to mind

i have one song and have listened to albums but not bought them because i am too busy buying things like different versions of cds i already have but i liked what i heard so someday i suppose i will buy some dredg also they have an album cover i really like cuz i always think it's a tv...
