Well this is kinda sad. I'm sad to see that this thread turned out this way. I feel the need to point a finger and blame somebody for opening their mouth a little too wide. I'm sure, after Matt got back from Europe, he probably would have started making new posts in the original Mblog. I think the main purpose for his new blog was to get away from the regular for awhile and also have somewhere to blog his trip. The new mblog is/was very clean, respectful and personal. Hopefully now that we all know, it will still stay civil and under control. At least until he gets back home and has time to figure out the future for his blog. This thread never should have became this large and I believe it should have been deleted immediately. A little too late for that as we all can see. So it doesn't matter anymore. Everyone knows. Keep it respectful people...

Wow. That article by Steve Albini seemed horribly harsh. I know the record industry is evil and all. And in Canada its even harder to turn profits for the artist. But that article made me cry man. I truly hope things aren't that bad.

Ha-ha... My favourite Matt memory was when I ran into him 3 times in the span of 48 hours at West Edmonton Mall. The first time our paths crossed was after the mall was closed and I was walking in one direction and he in the other. One of the dudes he was with looked really strange and also, this man looked like Randy from Trailer Park Boys. So Naturally I was staring like hell at this guy. I think he thought I was "mad dogging" him or something like that. And as we all passed, my friend leans over to me and says "hey, isn't that Matt Good?" I'm all like "huh!?!?" I never noticed him at first. So I look over my shoulder and see Matt staring back at me giving quite the dirty look... I think they thought I was trying to pick a fight with him and his posse. That's my story... Lame, but true. The other two occasions were pretty much un-eventful.

Umm... I would really like to know what town, place, or city Matt is referring to in "A Long Way Down? I'm pretty sure its probably about Coquitlam. But I'd still like to know for sure. I can relate to this song somewhat because I've lived in Edmonton my entire life. And so far it has not done anything for me but handed out loads of misery. I'm not speaking just for myself either. Anyways....
