  1. i used to subscribe to Chart Magazine and I was anxiously waiting the new MGB album.' i looked in the section near the front that has a calendar of the past month and details what happened in the past month of music. early in the month: dave genn leaves i was so sad! two days later: dave genn rejoins happy! a few days after: dave AND ian leave (or was it pat...) very sad! then it said, at the end of the month that they were back together. wooo, i was so happy. then a bit later they broke up for reals.
  2. yeah, matt and my range didn't mix well back in the day. like three months ago. im a baritone, hes a tenor. hes way higher but with some good practice ive extended my full voice range a perfect fifth. so i dont have to capo, or sing an octave lower anymore and my lower notes sound even thicker and fuller. on topic: I love It's Been A While Since I Was Your Man, same reason as Appiritions was stated above, you can just slide all over the place, and its so simple and so good.
  3. ive figured out an acoustic version of Flight Recorder from Viking 7 that I really like, but it's a bit too happy, compared to the original. it sounds more in the vein or appiritions and its been a while since i was your man, so i dunno what you guys'll think. otherwise, i could do fine art of falling apart or life beyond the minimum safe distance or something. i love the second half of loser anthems ;) i love playing tripoli, generation x-wing and its been awhile since i was your man on piano. i think they all sound better on that instrument, but alas, i only have an acoustic piano, and ive tried, in the past to record it and it always sounds bad. and im an audiophile so less than perfect is unacceptable.
  4. beautiful midnight and audio of being are my two favorites, by far. but, matt isnt in the mood to make that dark, tragic music he's so damn good at. so i dont know where he has to go. there is no market for happy matthew good, and even though im a big fan, it doesn't really compare.
  5. i love pearl jam, but i loathe the new song, Worldwide Suicide. Really isn't that good. In fact, I'd go far enough to say it's a bad, mediocre song. Pearl Jam can, and should do better. I'm still gonna pick up the new album, I hope it's better, as a whole, than WWS
  6. enhhh, her writing always bored me. tonypierce is king of the internet, though
  7. matts been saying alot of stuff, from it will be orchesteral and experimental, to a full out acoustic album. and hes just said, time and time again in interviews that he has no idea what the next album will sound like, yet.
  8. damn you all! you will rue the day I turn 19+!! I've been waiting so long to see MG(B) in the teedot, but its all be 19+ or i was like, 11 at the time.
  9. i doubt its a sickness thing, maybe he's just pissed with the negative comments he's getting, again. i remember when he and jenn went to europe he did the "gone fishin'" because he was in europe, not because he was really sick then too, oorrr was that when he was recording something. i forget. anyway. not the first time hes used the gone fishin, or shut down the mblog, and doubtfully the last.
  10. i never loved RHCP that much, and this song isn't really much different to me. it's fun, has a very RHCP style verse, but the chorus is really lacking, and the instrumental parts suck loudly. Californication and before was where the band really shone, by the way and after seems really weak to me.
  11. any chance these could be yousendit'd? or something like that? I'd love to have these on my ipod, or rip the audio off them or something like that.
  12. Born to Kill has the number one play count on my iTunes, 'nuff said.
