And there was already an acoustic version of Apparitions floating around that we didn't need the Rooms version. And Truffle Pigs was basically acoustic too. Prime Time Deliverance and Strange Days. I really didn't think that mattered. And a reimagined sgand would have been amazing. But that's just me.

I listened to Astronauts today on the train. It is still excellent. It's too bad Matt Good hates She's Got A New Disguise. I love that song...it would have been an awesome acoustic song on Rooms.

It's so warm and fuzzy. I like its lack of layers. Oh, and the organ.

A Single Explosion is the least superior of the bunch (all 15 tracks are superior by the way!)

No amount of editing can catapult certain songs into radio-friendly chart toppers. There's just no way songs like Man of Action and Suburbia, though awesome songs, would ever fly as singles. This is a painfully obvious fact. It doesn't matter if Carmelina and Rico were not successful singles, they had the forumula that conventional singles follow. Every once in a while there will be a deviation, but in the case of the songs you're proposing should have been radio singles I just don't think so. Carmelina and Anti-Pop were the only things resembling radio singles on Audio of Being. Beautiful Midnight had perfect choices for singles. Maybe the choices for Underdog were a bit off base, but not terribly so. As far as Hospital Music goes, anybody who suggests Champions of Nothing for a radio edit is just plain not thinking clearly.

Ya know, the first couple of times I listened to Born Losers I didn't really think it was that great and questioned it's single status....but then I heard him play it live on that AM Canada show and something about that live performance really opened my ears. I found myself singing along and now I think it's definitely one of the best songs on the album.
