Kevin Matisyn's voice sounds fuller and throatier than Maynards however, they do sing similarily. -

It's like emo-alt. rock couple radio friendly singles, but nothing like you hear usually on the radio. The songwriting is fantastic. Good guitar work as well. The whole band are all pretty talented musicians as well. Too bad this thread got moved, I thought it had more matt good relevance than half the threads in there, and that still doesn't say much. Either way, I hope people still read it -
I just purchased(that's right, purchased, not downloaded) Evan's Blue's Debut disc "The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume" which btw is a great great album...Anyways, and the singer/songwriter Kevin Matisyn lists Matty G in his thank you's "Matt Good (not that I know him)" and I just recently heard a radio interview with Kevin and he commented that Matt's music was a great influence on him, and his songwriting. Just thought everyone here would enjoy that little tidbit. ps, go buy this album from a great new canadian band from the K-W region

I Agree Silent Hill looks pretty good...and I enjoyed Resident Evil, and the second one was decent basically because it was totally shot in the T-Dot so I recognize all the locations. Every time I'm at Nathan Phillips square I want to see Nemesis and umm the chick fucking shit up

yes it will be good that is all

tickets are going fast for the london show you can only get them at speed city records

I thought it looked pretty decent. Probably not a bad choice if you're looking for an action flick instead of the usual cock-and-balls comedy that is all over the theaters. plus brucey boy's always great in rated R movies

Alien Ant Farm

These guys are one of my favourite bands. ANThology was an amazing cd, truANT wasn't nearly as complete I dont think. But still, a great band live to see. Dryden has such energy, and it's fun to watch them. Pretty good for a band that was almost killed in a bus accident 2 years ago -

I heard LOTGA playing in the foot locker in my local mall when I was 13, and asked my sister's bf (the guy who was working in the footlocker) what it was, he said he just bought it next door...and me thinking he was really cool, followed in his footsteps then I realized the cd didnt suck -
thanks for that little tidbit
