i voted for all together, although cant get shot is an extremely close second. i dont know what it is about all together....but it just hits me. its so full of emotion. i love it. i agree that hearing cant get shot for the first time at a concert was incredible. i thought it was so cool hearing all the new stuff before it was released. i hope he decides to do that again.

i met him almost 2 years ago in montreal during soundcheck, and it was so insane. he's by far my favourite artist and so when he was sitting in front of me and it was my turn to go up to him, i couldnt really get any words out. i was just too blown away by the whole situation. all i remember doing is going up to the table with my avalanche cd booklet, saying hello (he said hi back) and then all i could get out was that this was really crazy. he said that "crazy was a good word today". sigh.... ;) anyways, it was unbelievable. he was very nice and smiling and didnt rush anyone. he was great. next time, i hope to not be such an idiot and try to actually SAY something meaningful.

i picked agoraphobe, but it only has a slight lead over seriously serious. i think the downloading blues one is hilarious though.....pure genius!

ryan dahle is the lead singer for limblifter, an awesome band. you should check out their new cd "I/O". its incredible. ryan was also in the band static in stereo, who played that song "remote control" which was really big a few years back. i just love his voice. very unique. i think it compliments matt's very well.

i'm starting to get really pissed off with there always being one person that ruins it for everyone else. why do people feel the need to lash out at matt for having an opinion?? i was under the impression that the purpose of maintaining a blog was to express your opinion, not be attacked by people who don't share the same view. if you don't like matt's opinion, then thats completely fine, but i dont understand why people need to send threatening emails and post stupid argumentative comments. bah! i'm all for matt having a site with a fee....i'd pay it even if it was just a blog and no extras. i really love reading his posts.

that song is awesome!!! my favourite part is when the dance music starts and then they say "and the monkey pressed the button" or whatever.....seems like matt is taking a step back towards the bon tempo, beautiful midnight days. i think its especially evident if you read any of the jackpillowhead posts. very manifesto-like. i like it ;)

thanks, but thats one of the two that i've found already...all the chords sound right except for one. i think a chord might be missing.....oh well. i'll try and figure it out i guess

i've been searching everywhere for it, and can only find two different ones. one is wrong (in my opinion), and the other has a wrong chord in it that i can't figure out. has anyone here tabbed it correctly or know where i can find the right one?

i think we all need to keep in mind that this new band is NOT MGB or Matt Good solo.....its something completely different so we shouldnt expect another avalanche or beautiful midnight, but something new and exciting, which may or may not be music to everyone's ears. i hope we all don't start comparing this new song to matt's previous stuff, because you can't really do that. i personally love the new song, and i cant wait to hear more. the more i listen to it the more it grows on me.

all i can remember about the song was that it was a slow song, and the chorus had "city of millions" in it (obviously). it isnt big city life, but a totally different song.

are you sure that it was a b-side from WLRRR? because when i went to sound check in montreal during the avalanche tour, he played it there, but i guess that doesnt necessarily mean that it was a b-side from avalanche... does anyone have a copy of this, or even the lyrics for it? i have been searching everywhere for it.

the new song is a very big step away from his solo and mgb stuff.....i like it, although i'll have to hear more before i make a definite decision. sounds very promising though.

i had to vote for beautiful midnight. i LOVE the new stuff, but that album is just incredible to me. EDIT: now i'm unsure......i think if i could vote again i would vote for avalanche, too. what a masterpiece. but then i do really like WLRRR......ah! this is too hard!

that was an awesome track....i wonder if matt will be singing backup on all the songs though, or if he and ryan will switch between lead and backup....

i think lindsay lohan is the worst....how'd she get a record deal anyways?? she can hardly sing and "rumors" is pretty much 4 words looped over and over again....
