  1. The 90's was a great era for music, i find myself going back and listening to a lot of those albums you've talked about, all the time. The Smashing Pumpkins are my all time favourite band, so, i tend to listen to that era a lot more.
  2. good call, i guess.
  3. Actually, i'm sure it will only be a single album. Mostly the singles off the albums, ghetto-wlrrr ....with a couple of personal/fan favourites. It would be pretty awesome if he did include a dvd or something, video's... live shots.
  4. Tha american version also has Underdogs tracks on it. Doesnt' it?
  5. Great band, one of my favourite bands for a long time. The only album that I find hard to listen to sometimes is "be here now". Most of the band doesn't like that album too...
  6. There are a ton of tracks off of the demo's that I adore. It's a shame that a lot of his fans will never hear that pre-MGB stuff.
  7. Audio of Being. IMO his best work to date. So raw, so beautiful.
  8. As long as he isn't doing it to drag the song on, just for the fact that he can make them longer. If there is a purpose for the length and he just isn't wasting time.... than how could he go wrong? Avalanche was an amazing record, one of Matt's best to date. But sometimes, if you can cut a track down by 3 minutes, just because its useless noise, than it's far better.
  9. I've always thought Matt should do an acoustic tour. I think he'd be fantastic in a settling like that.
  10. There will be no official releases. Which probably means, no video. And Strange Days, in my opinion, is the best MGB video.
  11. The Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot.... if you hold the back up to a light you can see Billy Corgan.
  12. Amazing band. They will never re-create the music they had in their early years, however, they stil put on one hell of a good show. The last couple cd's have been pretty meh... but I agree, i think Pop is on of their best cd's.
  13. THE SMASHING PUMPKINS 1. Are you male or female?: Where Boy's Fear to Tread 2. Describe yourself: Bullet with Butterfly Wings 3. How do people feel about you?: Not Worth Asking 4. How do you feel about yourself?: Nothing and Everything 5. Describe your gf/ bf situation: Behold! The Nightmare 6. Where would you rather be?: My Eternity 7. Describe what you want to be: God. 8. Describe how you live: Thru The Eyes of Ruby 9. Describe your friends: The Sacred anf Profane 10. Share a few words of wisdom: Stand Inside Your Love
  14. Oasis - Thank You For The Good Times
  15. great song. can't wait till i hear the new album
  16. yeah, it's just an opinion. you have yours and he has his.
  17. yeah, that wasn't hard at all.
  18. I thought the album was pretty damn good. There isn't a track that I don't like. I think "Just Tonight...." "kill" and "Polaris" are the standouts on the album.
  19. Yeah, they have a lot of releases nobody ever talks about that are just as good, if not better than there newest material. Building Nothing out of Something is my favourite album by them.
  20. Yeah, now everyone can dry their tears away from the "would your whole life come to a end if matt stopped music" thread. Instead of hearing less of him, you get more.
  21. I don't mind his music, in a whole. Some of the stuff he releases is terrible. I've listened to every one of his albums (i even own a couple), except the newest one. He is talented at what he does, agree or dis-agree with his lyrics or opinions.
  22. bands that could be up there: The Hip / CCR / Rush / BTO / The Guess Who
  23. Was never a fan of their music. If i had to choose between Misery or Bang Bang Boom... or whatever, I would pick the last of the 2.
