Sorry if something like this has been posted already, I'm too tired to read through 3 pages. But I find it ironic that all those anarchy protestors are so organized, isnt that sorta against the concepts of anarchy? Or maybe someone should write a paper about "self organizing behaviour in anarchist groups"

The same thing happened to mine. And the messed up my order! Last time I buy from them.

I used to listend to 107kick fm here, back when it used to play rock. I remember one day one of the afternoon guy started playing Hanson by mistake, he ripped it off the air in the middle of the song and said "I'll see you in hell before I mmmmmmbop w/you" A month later they switched formats from good rock to disturbing pop, and there he was playing Hanson, britney and all the other crap. I dunno I though it was pretty funny ;)

Whats really annoying is there are probally a bunch of people out her who have lofi bsides and the tapes, and dont know their applied value. Heck I bet someppl have even thrown them away "Rochester kings? who the hell are they? Into the trash you go!"

just saw this on his blog, didnt notice it before, but the date implies its been there for a while. To quote it if I may: "January 16, 2005 Welcome If I did not send you an email inviting you to read, I would very much appreciate it if you did not use the comments. If you just happened to stumble across this blog then by all means read. But please do not comment. With the help of Pete Watson, I’m trying to get the Mblog archives transferred to this new blog so that they’re accessible. I’ll update when I know more." So he's okay w/ us ppl who are smart enough to find it reading, but would appricate us not commenting, which is fair enough. Having said this though I still dont think we should openly share the link to it.

I voted both should be legal. But its a tough call. I completly support it for the person who is terminally ill, with a slow painfull death ahead of them. But what about the depressed teenager?

was to my post? At any rate spelling is overrated!

Wow even talking about his blog is causing arguments. I can understand better why he would want to limit the ppl who see his stuff. I agree w/ both sides though, I kinda understand that we shouldn't be reading it since he's obviously taken steps to limit who can see it and who cant. But on the other hand I like reading his views and thoughts, quite often he points out something that I hadnt considered. When the blog was "taken down" I was dissapointed as I enjoyed reading. It sucks that I should be missing out cause of the annoying minority.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I belive there was only like 50 of the tapes made, so extremely unlikely.

That is how he filters out the stupid people. They never get there. Oh ouch burn! Luckily I found it after like 20 sec of searching

I dunno there is such a thing as cruel and unsual! That might be taking it a little too far. But hey I suppose they deserve it so its all good

On the HUB I found a MMM thingy on MG. One of the questions the interviewer asked was somehting like "Are there any songs you dont like" He replied something like "Rico & indestructable are crap" (sorry the vids at home and I'm at school so cant get direct quote) So that implies at least that he has reviewed his earlier work, and that there is some of it he wont listen too. But I must agree w/ MG here, Rico&Indestructable are the only songs I really dont like, and whats really annoying is about 4/5 times I hear MG/MGB on the radio its either Rico or Indestructable. Thats when I usually plug my MiniDisc in and listen to some of his good stuff ;)

I'm reminded of that line in "The Life Aquatic" "What would be the scientific purpose of beating up MG haters?" "....I dunno.... revenge"
-
Well out of all the MG/MGB wallpapers I've seen its the best. The problem was when I lost it I was running 2 monitors so it was twice the uglyness w/ the replacement I had to use.

The problem is if too many people try and "encourage" him to release his blog publically again, he's just going to go deeper underground. Unfortinatly I dont think there is much we can do ;) Unless we could track down all the people that have harrased him over the years and beat them to a bloody pulp. But still violence usually doesn't solve anything.

See what you need to do is get a domain like mikerowesoft.com (like Mike Rowe did) Have Microsoft sue you and then have them settle out of court and make lots of money. Or how bout the guy the registered wallstreet.com and then sold it for a pile of cash?

it was alright, not the greatest movie I've seen. I think old school was a lot better.

hey I looked everywhere I could think of for it. I googled matthew good (on the image) went through like 500 pics. Checked here, seaerched for the a post about it, looked at every picture on my computer including all the cached ones (like 4000 of them) just trying to find it again. Its a freaking brilliant picture Matthew Kukan (if thats someone here)

I had this really cool wallpaper that someone here posted. Well my comp fucked up and I want it back. Everytime I look at my desktop now my eyes want to puke ;) I tried doing the search but cant find it again. It was mostly black, had part of the avalanche cover imposed on it. Hopefully someone know a link to it, or could send it to me.

Did anyone watch this weeks ER? I thought it raised a good point, in that how do you balance the need to develop and bring new medicines to market over the posibiliity of having serious side effects? There has to be a balance in some respect. What do you say to the person dieing of cancer while a new drug that could save his life is delayed due to overly restrictive requirements from the FDA. But on the other hand if they're too lax on the testing look what can happen, I cant remember the drug name, but the anti-morning sickness drug in the 60's that caused all those children to be born w/o limbs. Its tough. But what worries me is that one of the biggest lobby groups is the Drug companies, and it seems all too often that the people who review the reasearch are in the pockets of this lobby group. THe other thing that pisses me off is the fact that a lot of these companies wouldnt spend the money to develop treatments for less common afflictions. So the US government introduced legislation that gave these companies huge benifits (like they dont have to pay any taxes on these drugs) to the companies to develop them. So they did, but then they realized that not only is this drug good at treating the uncommon illness but can be used to treat the really common ones. So all of the sudden they're making millions and still get the tax breaks. But still they charge tons of money for the drug.

well 1. HOSAM 2. Avalache 3. Blue Skies 4. Prime Time Deliverance 5. Strange Days and of course there'd be a ton of songs that just didnt quite make into the top five

I dont remember when I first heard him, but I remember when I was prompted to get his first CD. I was working@ Wendy's at the time (Hey I was 17 okay) and I was working early moring one day. I was listening to the radio on my walkmen cause the rest of the staff (the idiots that they were) voted to put on crap pop music. Now theres only so much Nsync briteny and hanson I can take before I have to shoot myself so I figured its better to listent to cjay. Neways I had been hearing apritions and Everything is Automatic on the radio for a while and really liked both of them but it wasn't untill this one day cooking a shit load of bacon that when I heard the song my brain realized hey this is like the best music on the radio, and its way better than anything else they've been playing in months, so as soon as I got off I went and bought the CD. From then on I've always been at Future Shop when it opens to buy the new CD when it comes out. Well cept WLRRR but I was out of the continent at the time so I have a decent excuse

I have a friend, he was born in Canada, but his parents were American. (Granted I dont understand the fullness of this) but he says he has to pay american taxes in addtion to canadian. But heres the big thing, because he's live in Canada his entire life he's never been a member of any electoral collage so didnt get to vote. A prime example of "taxation w/o representation" and hey wasn't that one of the big factors for the reveloution?
