Auf der Maur wasn't that bad. Matt wouldn't tour with a band that didn't have any skill. I would have preferred if Matt got on stage much sooner one way or another.

I need a purchasable version of Can't Get Shot asap. Hopefully it'll be on a b-sides album that isn't limited.

For me the best movie this year is easily Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Its a testament to what can be done if directors remembered that the best movies are story-driven, and not all aboot the hollywood hooplah that is far too common nowadays. If you have not seen it yet, I implore you to do yourself a favour and watch it.

The art direction in the flick was astounding. I think it's the best imported movie ever.

The current DVD release of Empire Strikes Back (with all of the special edition errors amended). But if there was a separate category for cartoons, then Transformers would win that one.

for now, its the original star wars definitely. but once the extended ROTK comes out, we shall see.

Interview with the Vampire was the best overall, but Blade 1 had awesome action ;)

It is far too difficult to determine the #1 band of all time. Mostly because each musical era has its own musical taste, and each of those tastes suit different people given different moods they are currently experiencing. The Beatles are certainly one of the best, but to pinpoint them as #1 would require a very specific criteria, since they are definitely not the best in each factor that comes into play for a great song. ie. there has never been a more lyrically inclined artist than MG. ;)

This is another vote for Weird Al. Eat It is too good to deny.

trust me moonlight, the set is amazing. Everything worked well together, the only song that was missing for me was The Fine Art of Falling Apart, but I know that's not much of a concert song, so I'll live. Besides, Apparitions and the 2 unreleased songs (big city life, can't get shot) make it more than blissful.

I totally agree that most of the punks at my show were the kids. I know it is most unfortunate for some of the dedicated/intelligent youths, but a 19+ show would probably go much better.

they're all amazingly horrible in their own way, so the ancient art of eeny meeny miny mo must suffice.

The show was fantastic. Certainly, the crowd-surfers and people moshing were a bummer, but then again the awesome way he reacted to them was hilarious. Major kudos to Matt for being so cool. When he opened with Apparitions, I almost messed my pants from the joy. However the best song of the show for me was the end. It was the first time I had ever heard of Can't Get Shot, but it is now my 2nd favourite MG song; next to The Fine Art. ;)
