A Pixies cover of "Planet Of Sound" done by Face To Face. Pretty decent job done of it. -
54:40's been around WAY longer than 4 or 5 years. More like 20.

Notwithstanding Clause
unspoken replied to Devil On Rollerskates's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
No it shouldn't. If used sparingly and correctly, it can do some good. For example, I remember during the election debates this issue came up and people were using it against Steven Harper. He said that in a situation where someone was trying to claim artistic merit to child pornography, he would use the Notwithstanding Clause to block it. I personally think that would be a good reason to use the it. -

Nobody's Real - Powerman 5000 -
I'm talking about things besides the songs His crowd interaction is usually pretty good. Some moments that I remember: June show, Regina. Someone yelled something about throwing a shoe(this was Matt's first show since the "incident"). Matt replies, "oh I forgot to wear a shirt with a big target on it" same show...Matt got some army toys and a computer game dealing with war and started making fun of them. October show: Someone asked, "What was the name of the stripper?" Matt was confused for a minute, then the guy added "The one you and Todd were in Vegas with" Matt just goes, I don't know man. I don't come to your job dude. Also he did some discussion about a thing he saw on the news with the US army having recruiters in high school and made total fun of the whole concept.

I couldn't agree more.

It's true that the Liberals don't really have an agenda except Do What The Law Says. Remember the whole gay marriage thing during the election campaign? Martin avoided answering that question like the plague, and just said We'll comply with what the Supreme Court says. And I don't think you'll ever see a ban on porn, just because there are those out there who will argue the artistic merit of it to the death. Also, people will argue that it's their right to choose what they do for entertainment purposes. I think at most, you'll see some tighter restrictions on porn so its not available to kids, but that's about it. Also, I don't think a porn site could buy www.matthewgoodband.com just because I think there's some kind of law that says the artist has the right to that domain name. It all started when people were buying domain names of companies, artists, and other money making ventures simply so they could make a profit by selling the rights to that domain name back to party who's name it is.

OK yes there is more passing...but I personally like to see drives, not 45 punts in a game with the occasional score. And the CFL needs to get rid of the single point rule on field goals...you shouldn't get points for screwing up. Also, even though its no fault of the CFL, the talent pool in the NFL is far more exciting to watch.

I like the ones that are a game(Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother etc). All the "find me a husband/wife" ones are just plain terrible.

I liked it, but I think it took too long to make a correlation between the different stories that were taking place. I guess patience is a virtue that I don't possess.

Although the Ending is very unrealistic, I'd say The Breakfast Club is somewhat realistic because it focuses on the different cliques that can exist within a school and the advantages/disadvantages of each one, and also the stereotypes that each one faces from those not in it.

Fear And Loathing is probably the best. Honourable mentions go to Requiem, Trainspotting, Half Baked, Dazed And Confused

Favorite music videos...

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the band, I love Radiohead's video for "Just". I'd really like to know what that guy says to make everyone lay on the sidewalk. And I agree with the Brand New supporters. Sic Transit Gloria is an awesome video. -

I know I'm being cliche, but I'm of the opinion that they haven't had a GOOD album since Master of Puppets. And Justice For All was decent but not good, everything after was bad. -

Yeah, I saw the third of the reunion shows here in Regina and it was well worth the money. And to anyone who doesn't have tickets, check the ticket agency the day of the show. For a lot of shows, they have been releasing more tickets the day of, that's how I got mine. But honestly, the ebay prices(depending on just how out of control they get) are worth it to see this show. -
He should make his next album either acoustic or live(accompanied with a DVD).

I don't remember the titles or have my book handy, but I think my favorites are: the one about being intoxicated on motion sickness pills the one about being in minimum security prison the one about faking multiple personality disorder during your murder trial.
