yeah i caught Anti-Pop on muchmusic in 2002, maybe 2001, and downloaded it along with Carmelina. that sat on my playlist for a loooong time. eventually i decided to get more Matt Good since those two songs seemed to last me so long. then Weapon came out, and i was 100% hooked.

the leafs are pretty fucking hated here in vancouver. i remember a friend of mine, after watching a game of hockey, finding an old Leafs pillowcase and then proceeding to burn it in the backyard. that fire subsequently got out of control, which we remedied by dumping a wheelbarrow full of water on it. then another friend came outside, said, and i quote, "YOU DIDN'T EVEN FINISH THE JOB!" and then set it on fire again. unfortunately, due to the gasoline, it got out of control again so we had a really fun time trying to put that one out. leafs suck.

the intro to Man of Action feels like a video taken inside an airport, played ultra-fast. very good song. and hey - annabelle was one of my favourites before this, it's in my top 20 or so. black helicopter = definitely on par with annabelle. i'm especially liking the chorus, the vocals are awesome the way he haunts and flows. reminds me of Ian Curtis a lil. Anton: i had to download the song twice, the first time didn't work.
