  1. After seeing Matt in both Lethbridge, and Calgary, we said it could not get any better. And yet once again the man has delivered the unthinkable. First off let me say that the Edmonton Venue was terrific. The sound was great and it's always nice kicking back and relaxing. I can say that I have seen around 20+ shows of Matt's and I may say this was my all-time favorite. First off- This acoustic solo tour suits Matt very well and I would be ok if he just continued to do this. He really looks like he is enjoying himself. I stood next to the sound booth in Calgary and there were only three songs on the encore list and he played 7. I think even the sound guys were surprised by how many he added. Next- Truffle Pigs. Need I say more? Even though he admittedly stumbled through it, it was awesome to hear none the less. We have talked about that one for years and it was such a treat to be there for it. Add to that, he played 20 songs. Check this out: Avalanche Advertising on Police Cars Alert Status Empty Road World called Hopeless Sort of a Protest Shot in the back Mrs.Smith Gen. X Tripoli Load me up Apparitions Encore Fine art TRUFFLE PIGS Strange days Fated Symbolistic Indestructible Primetime Special Mention: World called catastrophe is a vocal masterpiece. Tripoli is so good acoustically, and the guitar modification to Indestructible is brilliant. Who ever thought we would hear Fated, or Fine art. I think the Easterners are in for a real treat because I only think he is getting more comfortable in this setting and is getting better with each show. So, Can it get any better? We
  2. b-sides and exclusives are one in the same are they not? And it's seems strange that there is no accustic version of Weapon since I am listening to it right now. Maybe we should be using the term instrumental. I'm not sure if you are simply picking fly shit out of pepper, but however you want to word it it exists.
  3. I am using the Shadow Direct Connect Hub 0.3.34. Its like Chinese to me.
  4. Comfortable Criminals, as well as 3 exclusives that were released on Matt's site. A extended version of Near Fantastica, an acoustic version of Weapon and a version of Lullaby.

How about Matt doing the "Carleton", file that under things you never thought you'd see!
  6. NO, i tried the HUB again and just get pissed off. I used to work the older version but this one is way to finicky. I can use LimeWire and all the likes but I need my own personal tech crew to get that things going. Any other suggestions.
  7. Don't feel bad. I used to be able to navigate the HUb , now it just frustrates the shit out of me. I have most material I want but it pisses me off I can't get some new stuff.
  8. Expalin to me how it is that this thread is closed. First off, I have yet to see anything definte with regards to the inital inquiry. Secondly, why would you care. There are plenty of threads that I could give shit about, does that mean I can go ahead and pronounce them closed. Do you know what City of Millions is, or where it can be found. If not then perhaps you should keep reading or if you don't care then go read something else.
  9. Excellent reading on Matt's site. "Suddenly Savior's" We all know its happening but I still have a hard time believe that we can do a damn thing about it.
  10. The album is U2, can't see how one would love U2 and not like this album. It almost has a best of feel. Some songs have a retro sound almost as if trying to represent different albums of the past.
  11. Need some tunes. Check out some of the recent snowboarding videos. A little sample is "float on" , by Modest Mouse. WHO KNEW?
  12. Good point!
  13. Really setting the bar high with this one, butI would love to get a Live copy of Apparitions from the WLRRR tour. I absolutly love the way Matt changed up some of the vocal echoing. Anybody have a quality copy,I have a pretty extensive library to offer. Let me know what you need.
  14. OK, that makes sense. I was thinking you were refering to the drink in Calgary and he didn't even play there. I am always on the hunt for straight BS posting and ill informed crap. You however have validated your stuff and for this I commend you. Cheers
  15. How about "Arsenal of Ambition" , Don't ask where that came from. Out of nowhere!
  16. I would agree that the country sampling Matt did on WLRRR is most likely as deep as he'll go on that front. Hopefully. Don't get me wrong Matt could put out an album of nursury rhymes and I would buy it. But I just don't like country. Even though he has the ability to make it sound pretty damn good!
  17. What I can't beleive is how they just added stuff, on the computer and presto there it is. Who needs a studio anymore.
  18. Ok, 2 thoughts. You saw Matt after the show at the Drink. What city was that in. Secondly he didn't play City of Millions in Calgary. Trust ME on that one.
  19. Does anyone know where to find some of Matt's piano music, or has anyone done it themselves. I'm horseshit, but still want to play around. Anyone, Anyone, Buller?
