Canada is a middle power though, we don't use our military to push people around, and if we do, we do it jointly with others usually. We generally try to find peaceful resolutions too.

So it can site on the shelves of CD stores, like it did with "White Light Rock and Roll Review" did? Universal would probably rather do a "Matthew Good Band" best of now, while there are still enough fans of the band around to make some money off of it, as opposed to waiting around and not making money off of the best of. It costs money to make a new album, the songs have to be recorded, and that's not neccessarily always cheap. Generally, record companies seem more interested in making money on their bands...

I like how everyone says their sorry for the modern band likers, yet the same things were said before the 90s too.

I'm not talking about leading world powers, I'm talking about middle powers. And Canada is known for it's problem solving ability, that's where the middle power stuff comes in.

Grunge is overrated. Some of it was okay... It was just the same thing they're "spewing" out now anyways. Most of the bands talk about "how hard" they have it. Listen to what you like and whatnot, but don't trash modern bands, when there are definitely some good ones out there. I listen to more smaller bands these days than I used to, but I don't see why if people enjoy the new music, that it needs to be trashed...

"The Hives" are pretty good at keeping orchestration out of their music, I think I've only heard one song of theirs with strings in it. The music is still pretty good too.

Maverick, you're inferior to everyone else that has posted so far because you're not open minded. You've done this before with "Star Wars" as well. Maybe you're too young for message boards, I don't know, because you need to mature somewhat. People have the right to like what they like, it's a free country last I checked. Don't be a know it all, most know it alls don't know very much. Right now you're appearing to be one.

One of the guys said in an article that came out during the release of "Collision Course" that they're slow writers, so the new album might take awhile.

Maverick, people like what they like, some people call Matthew Good to simple while they listen to "Led Zeppelin", and would say the same things you're saying, except about Matthew Good, so relax man, there's more to life than complaining.

They're alright. I liked "Collision Course" even though I don't like "Jay-Z". It's my understanding though, "Collision Course" is the result of Mike Shinoda trying hard to put the songs together well. Apparently it was only supposed to be a 2 song originally, and the results would be preformed live.

"Near Fantastica" single version is the original version of the song, it wasn't cut down. What happened is Matthew Good had some more studio time, so he worked on an extended version for the single, and recorded it and what not. When all was said and done, people liked the extended better so it made it to the CD instead.

Didn't Matthew Good make reference to Universal planning to release "The Audio Of Being" B-Sides awhile back? But I think a "Matthew Good Band" best of would be better since, the "Matthew Good Band" is way different than Matthew Good, and also have broken up.

It basically decides who can and cannot post in a forum...
