  1. "Apparitions"!!!
  2. "Strange Days", hands down.
  3. "Carmelina" by far. Fucking great song, too.
  4. In no particular order: 1. "Strange Days" 2. "Apparitions" 3. "Truffle Pigs" 4. "Empty Road" 5. "Avalanche" 6. "Hello Time Bomb" 7. "Running for Home" 8. "Vermilion" 9. "Carmelina" 10. "I, the Throw Away"
  5. 1. "Apparitions" 2. "Strange Days" Probably my top two favourites.
  6. And I was suckered into buying mine for $15? Pfft. Oh, and my order is: 1. Beautiful Midnight 2. White Light Rock & Roll Review 3. Avalanche 4. Audio of Being 5. Last of the Ghetto Astronauts 6. Underdogs
  7. 1. "Giant" I'm simply in love with it. No question.
  8. "Strange Days" or "Apparitions" for me. I can relate to a lot of the lyrics, and just... yeah, I get pretty emotional when I hear them.
  9. Reviews and set-lists would be open. I always like seeing the songs he will play. Of course, when I saw Matt in Ottawa, he obviously wasn't playing the Vancouver set-list, so you get surprises anyway.
  10. I don't know why everyone hates "Double Life". I actually really enjoy that song. Obviously it's not the best off the album, but it isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. The structure is a bit predictable, but the song itself is quite nice. Perhaps it doesn't fit Avalanche superbly, but it's still a great song on its own.
  11. 1. "Weapon" 2. "Prime Time Deliverance"
  12. 1. "Running for Home" 2. "Avalanche"
  13. 1. "Failing The Rorschach Test" 2. "Avalanche" 3. "Running for Home"
  14. Seems to have been fixed. Though, it was funny all the same.
  15. 1. "My Out of Style is Coming Back" 2. "Advertising on Police Cars" It took me a seriously long time to come up with number two. God, that was tough.
  16. It was an amazing concert. I was up on the top left, and I got a seat (that's what you get for being an hour early). Thank God he played "Buffalo Seven", I love that song. I also really loved the ending of "Hello Time Bomb", where he went all soft and acoustic. That was a nice surprise. One of the coolest things about the concert (I'm not sure if this was mentioned) was when everyone was calling him back out for an encore by singing "K - I - C - K - A - S - S *clap clap clap clap clapclap* That's the way we spell success. *clap clap clap clap clapclap*" It was cool, because almost everyone was doing it. Same with the sing-along bits in "Avalanche" and "Hello Time Bomb". Anyone else find the lights in "Blue Skies Over Badlands", "Hello Time Bomb" and "Carmelina" to be unwatchable? Sadly, I had to look away for the majority of the songs.
  17. Man. I'm getting ready to go to the concert now. If you care, you can meet me at the end of the show, I'll be waiting for him outside by the tour bus. I'm not if he'll come out, but it's worth a shot. I'll be wearing a black and white long-sleeved baseball shirt. Say hello if you're there. I have my stuff ready too. Copy of White Light Rock & Roll Review and a silver sharpie for signing. Also, does anyone know around what time the past concerts have ended/lasted? Thanks. ONE HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES UNTIL DOORS.
  18. Twelve hours until doors. Ohmyfuckinggod.
  19. 1. "Apparitions" 2. "Strange Days" 3. "Running for Home"
  20. 1. "Giant" 2. "Advertising on Police Cars" 3. "Weapon"
  21. ... ten days ten days ten days ten days ten days ...
  22. 1. "A Boy and His Machine Gun" 2. "Born to Kill" 3. "Strange Days"
  23. I Am The Walrus - The Beatles
  24. Man, you had seats? That sucks. Actually, I might be forced to take setas, since the bottom moshing-level is sometimes reserved for the drinkers. Man, it'd really suck to have to sit. I wanna be up close!
  25. The tour buses are usually on the side-street outside of the main doors, that is if you're talking about Capital Music Hall. If you go to the stairs leading to the upper level, the tour buses are usually parked across from that, as the door with the ramp going from the stage is on that side of the building. The last three concerts that I've been at Capital Music Hall (Eve 6/Yellowcard, random band I forget now and just recently The Killers/Ambulance LTD) the tour buses have been there, so that would be your best area to stake out if you're going on October 25th. If you are, then I suppose I'll see you outside waiting by the tour bus ;)
