  1. lol, that's a very good question... someone help us! Time to e-mail Matt on this one.
  2. ty Lauren, heh I got Blue Skies Over Badlands live... as expected it rocks... ;)
  3. C'mon, LotGA.. can it get any more original and crafty as that?
  4. lol, good idea and good point... those southern Americans are so deprived... any idea why Matt's sound just never took off in the states? Is it just that us MG fans have a unique taste and his music cannot be plainly enjoyed by a lot of people?
  5. lol, then noone would buy it ;)
  6. Beautiful Midnight has got that eerie sense of beauty, it's hard to explain but it's just well done.
  7. Suburbia: "Baby, if I was in demand.... you would be mine." Sadly, that just sums up my whole life.
  8. lol, I have no problem with a shirt like that.... Those MG t-shirt are wicked cool though especially the: "I Heard Matt Good's a Real Asshole" shirt. I need that one sooo badly. You know someone is so confident in himself when he can wear a shirt like that and feel totally confortable... a great lesson in life, who cares wtf other ppl think.
  9. Hehe and most of us probably have 7, I do: LotGA Underdogs Raygun BM AoB AvalancheWLRRR
  10. lol, I could use some... I just spent most of it on "Big City Life", which is awesome... and the quality is really good... kudos to eveyone who works hard on this site... great job.
  11. Yah, NA4Life would be interesting, try marketing that to southern U.S. Empty Road has got to be a video... here's my clever idea: Okay, they whole video is just a camera... going down a highway... but nothings there..... it's empty.... eh?... yah?.....who likes it?!?! c'mon tell me that's not good.... tell me you wouldn't pay to watch that.
  12. lol, needs more cow bell I think.... that's classic Will Farrell (or however you spell it).
  13. Don't feel guilty, Matt puked his guts out getting this album finished in the fine fashion it was.... just appreciate it more. Let's face it, all rock stars have ups and downs, the fact that Matt Good just didn't say, "what the heck, I've had enough of this" just shows how much he cares about music and his impact on people/society, unlike all the bands today that you see on Much Music (like Avril Lavigne) who only care about what people think about them and how much money they can make while still having "respect" (aka: people thinking they're badass or something). Sry, sensitive topic for me there.
  14. I saw that minitour as well in St.Catherines, behind a fence because I was too young to get in (grrrrr.) I still heard it really well... it was just as good as being inside the fences. Yah, they played Tripoli, Workers', Advertising on Police Cars, and of course Carmalina.... it was so awesome... there was also a slower version of The Future is X-Rated... that was something else too... so wicked.
  15. This happens with me as well, but since I am so addicted to Matt Good, I now instantly like all his songs right when I hear them (maybe because his music has become that good). When I first heard Alabama Motel Room and Symbolistic White Walls, the first songs I ever heard from MGB.... I thought they were so terrible... and then a week later I was like, "wtf... this is awesome." So I'm strange that way i suppose.
  16. Wow, it's closer than I thought it would be... They're both great... and I hate country as well... but Hopeless is different... it's like nothing I had heard before... it's a new genre... someone come up with a name.. like... alternative country... or something, lol
  17. Crusader, you've never been to a Matt Good concert before... it's like being reborn... not to get your hopes up or anything.
  18. I bought LoTGA when I was 11 or 12.... my brother gave it too me as a joke because I kept telling him that I was gonna be an astronaut when I grew up. So I bought it with the money I stole from him earlier while he was teasing me about being an astronaut... take that for irony. Anyways... I ended up liking it and I'm now studying Business at McMaster... so...yah...the whole astronaut dream is out the window clearly.
  19. lol, The Man, that's such a vital point.... it's like being named Conan... or Zeus... or something... or some boxer who dropped out of highschool and doesn't even know the difference between first and third person. p.s. Dave was god and I miss him.... not in a gay way.
  20. It's actually a tougher choice than I thought.
  21. Yah, I concur... Load Me Up is one of his best songs and the fact that it doesn't seem "complete" is just a major disappointment.... hopefully when I see him again in November it will have the "lead" or else.... or else.... I'll beg him to autograph my LoTGA album after the concert.... I'm just warning him.
  22. Can you rate these posts... cause this one should be atleast "R". Dear god man, why?..... just why?
  23. 1. Load Me Up 2. Everything is Automatic (Matt Good classic, should not lose)3. My Out of Style is Coming Back (I'm bored but I'm excited.) 4. Prime Time Deliverance 5. We're So Heavy (this beats A Boy and His Machine Gun soooo badly... We're So Heavy is like 3 godly Matt Good songs in one.... so let's start the "We're so Heavy" rally... cause it's gettin creamed... Boy and His Machine Gun is awesome though... especially the creepy ending) 6. Giant
  24. Indeed, I had the pleasure of hearing one of his concerts while they were still MGB (in St.Catherines). It was rock solid... "Workers' Sing a Song of Mass Production" was awesome... and "Carmalina" of course.... but the best was "Advertising on Police Cars" .... sweet show.
  25. lol, I just gave Strange Days the lead.... tough choice though... my favourite song is probably "Change of Season"... weird, eh?
