Yah, but is it fair to the ppl who can't d/l the songs because they don't have the technological necessities? Like.... My comp is so terrible... most links don't even work for me... and I certaintly can't manage Kazaa or anything like that.. heck it takes me 1/2 hour to d/l songs from the site (although that doesn't stop me).... I'd just be worried about accessibility and I wouldn't want to leave anyone else.. it doesn't seem fair to those non internet users.
  2. Oh man, I just heard CC from the store... for like the 2nd or 3rd time (I listened to it from the HOSAM site but couldn't d/l it )... it's awesome... how could it not make the cut... i don't understand why it jst wasn't another song on Avalanche..... hmm Annabelle is good too... it's a draw (although I voted Annabelle because I had heard it more)
  3. Underdogs... nooooooo.... how? I don't understand how you can like 3-4 albums from someone and then just not like one.... it's the same voice... usually the same style, albeit Underdogs is MGB... but if you like BM how can't you like Underdogs!!! lol... i don't understand it... someone give me an explanation.
  4. OMG, why?! You don't like anything off of the new album at all? You can't find it in your heart to appreciate one song on that c.d..... MG spills his guts out about the world.... and you just don't like it... lol.... sry I'm just an ass sometimes... some ppl just don't like the sound, i know.... i know. P.S. I don't know.
  5. Yes, begging sounds like a great idea ty Man... and ty Spieslikeus cause he shared his wealth which is such an MG thing to do. ;)
  6. How so? Is it done poorly? Or does it just not clash well with the other songs... because I'd take Deep Six on any album ;)
  7. Ahh.... Pledge of Allegiance blows out Man of Action and Giant? No way ;).... hehe, you're prolly the only one who would take Pledge of Allegiance.... It's good but Man of Action and Giant are better... more tone variety and better instrumentation
  8. Umm... you've got me beat... exponentially... but you're not as big as a fan as I am! I like every song... aren't you the guy who hates Fearless...lol, shame on you! P.S. it's your own opinion so shame on me... And if your not the guy who doesn't like fearless and all those other songs then I'm a moron.
  9. no matter... heck I'll do it... if i succeed.... I'm looking for big reward in the form of possible nf$ (or atleast a thank you?) or nothing..... yes, im pathetic.
  10. How does one get his hands on some of those songs from Lo-Fi... especially considering he doesn't have Kazaa... anyone know any links or something...especially for Fine Art of Falling Apart (which I've heard twice... from the MG site before it chaged)
  11. Anyone think of e-mailing MG formally about the lyrics, might be worth a shot... he'd know u were a big fan, let's face it... anyways... 1 nf$ for the person who's successfull...
  12. Argh, mine either... maybe that's because I'm running a Pentium II with windows 95 and I can't even run MSN for christ's sake.... not to mention dial up internet.... god help us all... it's not even running at 40...send help.... (or nf$) but it takes me 30 mins to d/l song anyways.....
  13. lol, but can I make the economical comparison here? You elitest's are like the CEO's of some major corporation, with your thousands of $NF... I'm like some miserable janitor...putting in my best effort here..lol, it's not fair....You just wait.. I'm gonna start another communist revolution... All power to the Bolsheviks!!!!!!!! p.s. my obsessive posting for nf$ has clearly caused this outbreak of insanity.... give the janitor a break?
  14. and make them cheaper, cause I'm cheap... No, because some of them are so expensive and you can only post so many god damn replies lol.... Anyways... the dates would be cool.. like when was that "running for home".... well done though... that live running from home is really impressive.... sounds better than the recorded version.. ;)
  15. EIA lost.... give me a break... and We're So Heavy... yah they had stiff competition but EiA made MGB... and We're So Heavy is best song on the new album... aHHHHHHHHHHHH... sry.... here we go: 1. Near Fantastica (easiest choice) 2. I, The Throw Away (I know... but that's pure MG... give him an acoustic and it's shear brilliance....) 3. Fearless (Alert Status Red doesn't compare... Fearless is classic MGB.... this should win easily) 4. WWWHR (hardest choice) 5. The Future is X-rated (phone sex and non-sense lyrics takes all) 6. Advertising on Police Cars (pretty simple there too...) GO FEARLESS!

I certainly wouldn't want that to be the main mode of marketing... I still want to be able to purchase songs from the stores... It's a major inconvenience for ppl who lack the technology as well as the security to d/l from the internet all the time... I just think that it represses too many fans who either don't have access to the net... or have highspeed... or are willing to use it.
  17. He's a perfect mix of raw talent, passion, and intelligence... along with a solid group of guys they have the ability to make a difference in the world... and that's exactly what they do... for the better... it's not about money or who likes you because you act like a punk... it's about doing things for the betterment of others.
  18. hehe, I hear you.... I was just trying to voie my opinion as well... with no disrespect to guitarchick because she has the right to her opinion...I'm not here for controversy... just for the sharing of opinions and hopefully trying to persuade ppl that they may be wrong.... if I can't then, maybe I'm wrong.. or maybe ppl are just content with their opinions... ty for that concern.

I think I speak for all of us when I say, wtf? What are you implying Mark?
  20. He has no fan base in the U.S. and he doesn't like the idea of being Americanized like all the other bands who have had success in the States... they all become States huggers and lose some Canadian pride... it's unfortunate, but atleast it always happens to the bands with no talent (Nickelback, Avril, etc.)
  21. Guitarchic, that's so false.... Dave Genn doesn't have his own stuff because he doesn't have the singing capabilities that Matt does... Genn is an incredible musician who has a great ear and can polish songs so well.....he was an essential part of MGB and was a key contributor to many of the songs we've all come to love... let's atleast give him some credit... you don't have to love the guy or anything but give him his due
  22. Amen to that, I don't think the other guys compare to Dave Genn... he's up on a higher plain..... probably just below Matt's abilities... although Matt can sing more efficiently... as well as play instruments... I still think Dave Genn was an important element of the band.. they're just not the same anymore, but with that being said... they're still just as good... just in different ways... Matt Good has matured and writes better music now... I think... more variety... more meaning.... more instrumentation.... agree?
  23. Yeah, Hello Time Bomb can get repetitive after a while... and is just a fun song... it doesn't really have much style... so it's easy to not absolutely want to listen to that song obsessivly.... it's still great though
  24. Dave Genn... he's classic and was helpful in writing some songs... i think more than the others anyways... i could be wrong.
  25. OMG, I can't breath... IAWCC..... SWW....Truffle Pigs... just gotta keep reminding myself that it's all personal opinion... once again I will mention that these songs are some of MG's best efforts... so.... you fill in the rest.
