  1. I just saw the lovely bones. I think the book was good, but the movie wasn't anything special. Mark wahlberg's a player.
  2. I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms, and, if it proved to be mean, why then to get the whole and genuine meanness of it, and publish its meanness to the world; or if it were sublime, to know it by experience, and be able to give a true account of it in my next excursion. (Henry David Thoreau, Walden)

  4. I was really hoping for a solution easier than this. Out of the 100 or so itunes gift cards on ebay not one is from Canada. Myabe i'll pick one up next time i'm in Vancouver. If anyone knows if there is another site you can download from with these Bonus songs, let me know. Thanks
  5. I searched past threads, but couldn
  6. I've been in many fights, most of them involving too much drinks for the night.... What's the best City in Canada, and why is it the best?
  7. I'm reading Scar Tissue. The autobiography on Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's a great read and has a lot of insight on the slippery slope of gaining sobriety.
  8. Pan's Labyrinth(El Laberinto del Fauno) is my favorite foreign film. What is your favorite place to vacation at?
  9. I saw the pictures in Flickr. The horses were a nice touch.
  10. Downloaded Muse - The Resistance. Muse is awesome Live!
  11. I might need to play the against me game. I've played The Big Lebowski game. Drink everytime they say dude, the F-word, or Lebowski. Don't know anyone that's made it through the entire movie. Anyone made it through or played the 100-club? Drink a shot of beer every minitnute for 100 minutes. Comes out to about 8-9 beers in an hour and half. Things often get crazy after this game.
  12. "I've Never" is also a great drinking game! You get to learn a bunch of interesting facts about your fellow drinking buddies. Everyone sits around around a table. One person goes first by making a TRUE statement that begins with "I never...." For example, "I've never been to Disneyland." Then, if any other player HAS DONE what the person said, they simply drink. As the game progresses, the statements tend to get more personal and explicit. But the game only works when people are honest. However, if somebody drinks on an "I never..," no explanation is necessary. For example, if someone says, "I've never had sex with an inflatable doll," and someone ends up drinking to it, no explanation is needed, just a drink of affirmation. Word of the wise, don
  13. My vote is Edward 40 Hands. If your not familar with this game. You duct tape your hands to two 40's and can't un-tape your hands until you've finished all the beer. It get's interesting when you need to unzip your pants to take a piss. ;)
  14. A great moving, but not the best of all time. I will give it the best drinking game movie of all time. Drink everytime the word Fuck, Dude, or Lebowski is said. Can you say wasted?
  15. Everyone i know either hated it or loved it. I thought it was really good. Whens the sequel coming out?
  16. Saw Date Night. It was alright and had a few good laughs. I'd definately rent it, but maybe hold off on seeing it at the theaters.
  17. I wasn't a big fan of the movie. It needed more blood and tits.
  18. I've been biting my nails my entire life. Thats one bad habbit that's never going away. Non-mechanical all the way!
  19. Theres a Vinyl for sale on Ebay right now for $80. Don't get fooled I checked and you can still order them off Maplemusic.com for $30 including shipping. The weird thing is that on MapleMusic the CD's for Vancouver are out of stock, but you can still get the Vinyl. Does anyone know if the Vinyl is in limiited production? As in are there only 5000 being produced?
  20. This may have been asked before, but i never saw an answer. Is the name, Cold Harbor, set for the new album? How do we know this is the new albums title? Thanks for the info!
  21. I don't get why the Ipad has the 1-inch back strip around the entire screen. It makes the thing so much bigger than the actual screen and decreases the portability. Why am I not surprised to hear that they are totally sold out of these things? Even though most people say they don
  22. Whats the best place you've found for buying and selling rare MG Albums? I search on Ebay mostly, but don't find very many rare albums on there.
