Reality Show About Fat People Losing Weight
HoboFactory replied to Dan #2's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
Apparently there's a number of such shows. I've heard of one called "The Biggest Loser" and apparently the winner is who loses the most weight or something like that. Never seen it though. -
Isn't it in November??

The coolest thing since those black sweatpants with the white striped shorts sewn onto the outside. Click here, hurry!

No monkeys. They suck.

Rarely buy full albums, much less singles.

There's a support group for that. I go there because the chairs are comfy.

They're not that bad. Not great, but not absolutely awful either.

Heh, wonder if that's at all similar to a Rammstein song of a very similar title. -
Billy Corgan

I think it's a good album; for something so dependent on the whole 'electronic' sound it sounds decent. -

Yes the al Pacino one. Although I havn't seen the original yet so who knows 100% agreed. Also agreed, that guy fails to amuse on every occasion.

Well that's where you'd be wrong. Nickelback quite literally has been known to recycle old tunes to make "new" ones. Rammstein's style and lyrics are indeed quite varied, while they're most known for heavy industrial music, they've got quite a few soft ballads, songs in folk-western style as heard in "Wilder Wein (Live Aus Berlin)" or "Los." The differences in the overall style between their albums are quite apparent to anyone who gives it all a good listen. Their music actually evolves unlike Nickelback. As for lyrics, they do vary. Alotta people seem to only notice the explicit eroticism they seem to sing a lot about, but there's a great deal more to it than just that; but the rhyme, play on words, etc are pretty difficult to appreciate without understanding it exactly as it is sung.

Got around to seeing it today, thought it was pretty damn good.

Well I suppose it is a change of pace from a typical comedy because it lacks pace altogether. It goes practically nowhere. All its 'randomness' was fairly ordinary; dangling an action figure from a schoolbus with string isn't exactly the hight of hilarity or particularly off the wall. Although I can't stand the Jim Carrey, Will Farrell, or Rob Schneider comedies either, those guys all blow. When I think of a good comedy, it would be something like Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
