I actually do recommend this movie, not because it's good, it's just really crazy...that makes it worth seeing.

It's got a lovely musical score by the way.

Mulholland Dr. makes sense for the most part in the beginning, about 2/3 or so of the way through it just totally goes insane. There's lesbian love, 3-inch tall glowing old-people that live inside a paper bag owned by a very scary looking hobo who lives behind a cafe, and the characters switch around roles and lives for no apparent reason.

I have some doubts as to whether it's worth the wait... heh

The collapse of the USSR was almost in entirety the result of internal matters, Reagan's influence is over-stated and virtually insignificant by comparison. People who say otherwise probably know alot about Reagan and his actions but next to nothing about what was going in in the USSR at the time.

I actually heard from some people that it was good. But these are the same people that say their favorite band is Slipknot, so I don't take their tastes too seriously.

In all honesty it's not that great anyways. The music is decently done, but they tried to incorporate some of the lyrics too, and that didn't work because the people reading the lyrics (one of which was some old lady with a raspy voice) failed to do justice.
