  3. lmfao, you're right. I saw them on Kimmel one day and they looked like nothing like what I expected. I'm gonna have to go out and buy their first cd to repair the hole in my heart cause sadly between the time i made this thread and now, I lost the IKSSE album ;) Trying to get the songs off Kazaa isn't working either, they're mostly all scratched. How tragggic
  4. I've got a good version of A Better Pain if you want me to send it to you.. I've also got Dancing Invisible, but it doesn't sound all that great, the music seems kind of distant in it..
  5. lol well you caught me with Cheney, but I'm not Bush .. Whoever did Bush was much too clever to be me
  6. 7/10 I like Interpol.. I know they sound like Joy Division and all, but the new album is pretty solid The Smashing Pumpkins
  7. Take the Veil Cerpin Text - Mars Volta
  8. Kim Jong-Il's Livejournal LMFAO, this stuff is hilarious.
  9. Anyone here listen to them? What do you think? I bought their second cd, In Keeping Secrets of the Silent Earth, and was really impressed. I don't know much about the story behind the lyrics (lyrics are supposed to be explained in a series of comic books, I think). The music itself is quite quite good. The keyboard intro at the start of the cd gave me an orgasm the first time i heard it. I recommend you listen to them, or die. ;)
  10. Good call Tim, it was just some information and a good read. I didn't know that "Jenni" was a mix of many different people, innnteresting. I guess what I'm trying to say is definately don't use it as your only source or anything like that..
  11. a "valid debate"? at least provide some valid facts then... But, I'm sure you're probably joking. I hope ;)
  12. Read The Night Opus (one of MG's manifestos) Hopefully someone can back me up by confirming if its true or not.. but I'm pretty sure the events actually happened. Peace,
  13. Scott's right, that pretty much explains what it is. Murphy's Law vs. Hokem's Razor
  14. Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 (video from final gig at the Metro)
  15. I wish Auf Der Maur woulda played a song from the Pumpkins era. I know I'm dreaming but that woulda sent me over the top. Did you hear the guy yell "PLAY ZERO"!! That made me laugh pretty hard, if only she woulda listened. ;)
  16. You're damn right... blue skies gave me chills the whole way through so did the rat who would be king .. and many others. When the frontman for Limblifter said we were gonna see Matt at his best ever, he couldn't have been more right. They were flat out fuckin awesome. It was great seeing Matt really into it compared to back when he walked off during Weapon a couple years ago. I can't remember a concert I enjoyed more then last nights'.
  17. 1) My Out of Style 2) Failing the Rorschach Test
  18. What an incredible performance tonight by all bands. Especially Matt! I've got no words for how much i enjoyed tonight. and Jayman, I'm 99% sure the song you're missing is "The workers sing a song of mass production". Peace,
  19. Great, thanks for clearing that up.
  20. This might be a pretty obvious question for those who have been to Capital before but ... is there a place where you can hang your coats and not have to worry that all your life savings will be jacked?
  21. I don't know which SNL it was, but Jude Law was hosting. Pretty recent tho.
  22. I'm sure some of you have seen this, but for those who haven't our best friend Ashlee Simpson got owned on SNL. You can check out the video here (check out her dance, its MAGIC I tell you, MAGIC): such poetic justice Her lame-ass excuse after the fact can be found on that page as well. No doubt the world got dumber when she was born.
