The fact that some people actually believed that, is quite disheartening. First of all, let's use some common sense. You know, that good old method of reasoning using justifiable and reasonable assumptions, which more often than not, prove to be the accurate solution. If Matt asked who it was, and he replied, "Scot from Panic Button".. Matt wouldnt tell him to Fuck Off.. Matt would have no idea who the hell Scot is. Second of all, the insult that was was used to quote Matt.. was something a grade 5 kid would say. Matt would leave a snide remark, rather than petty swear words. Secondly, Scot lives in London, ON (according to Locale -- and his London Knights avatar from before) and Matt lives in B.C. (I believe). There would be some long distance charges, and there's no point in wasting money to harrass one of your favourite celebrities. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but people needn't have to lie just to get attention. You know what would be a lot cooler in terms of getting attention?? Stabbing a spork in your eye, then I'll appreciate your attempt to get attention.

I'm sure anyone would be terrified if they had cancer of any sort, regardless of which body part, so the fact there was a need for an ultrasound in general is scary. But it's good to hear he'll be okay.

I agree.. I mean I can see the intention of the concert to be completely positive and good natured, but it's sad to think that people have become more willing to donate the extra dollars they probably said they didnt have previously, because of a concert. It's so true what he said, people are dying and starving, and yet so many people arent willing to do whatever they can.. unless there is some sort of reward. This isnt one of those lost dog ads, this is helping your fellow human beings.. In addition, I dont think Matt agrees with having to publicize one's good deeds, to gain public favour. It's obvious he has participated in assisting those in Southern Asia, but I commend that he does not feel the need to have to show it off. Not that I'm saying it's necessarily a bad thing in essence, as long as you're helping, but keeping the individual donations as the backstory, and the total contributed by the world as a whole ismore important.. and whether it can ever be enough.

I say we email Matt and hope he sues their asses! lol.

I'd go with the 2 you didnt suggest.. Pony Boy for AoB and Dusk.. I think Dusk would have made an awesome last track on any cd.

hahaha. It's funny because "thefutureisxrated" didnt ask for it. lol. You can find the video on Kazaa or Limewire. Kazaa tends to have a lot more stuff though. Sending the video from my computer would take weeks, stupid computer!

I'd go with Underdogs... it doesnt have any massive standout tracks, like BM and AoB have (with Suburbia, A Boy and His Machine Gun / Advertising on Police Cars, Sort of a Protest Song), but overall, I think it has the best flow.. all the tracks flow well together.. and it's got some of the best rockin' songs.

Underdogs: Should Have Been a Supervillain, and Reliance (But they were never recorded) Beautiful Midnight: the songs on Loser Anthems Audio of Being: Pony Boy, and All Together Avalanche: Near Fantastica (NoC Remix *I count it because it's a different song), Comfortable Criminals (this song was scrapped in favour of A Long Way Down -- if you listen carefully you can hear similarities in the music) (Weapon Instrumental, Lullaby Acoustic arent B-Sides, theyre more like different versions of songs), WLRRR: Dusk, Cant Get Shot In The Back, Annabelle (although technically they werent cut from the album, they were just songs he did before the release on his computer. BonTempo as stated, is the joke band that MG made.

Well when we do it all over again in 2005.. I'm certain the results will be different! Next time, just dont vote against Advertising on Police Cars :@

We had a record 45 people vote in this match, and in the end Danimal gets the honour of posting the deciding ballot.. which happened to be the 45th vote! Without further ado, the results from 2004's MGB Elimination Tournament CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS are: APPARITIONS 22 vs WEAPON 23 Thanks to everyone who participated in voting, you guys made this a lot of fun to tabulate, but it's a shame it had to end. But good news with new Matt Good material.. 2005's version will be a lot different!! I love how these new songs are sounding, they sound so different from everything out there. This is so much better than that whole country album idea he wanted to go with. And that Free Download song was soo funny.. although the cowboy scared the hell outta me at the end lol. Good times!
