  1. Now that all of the hubbub about whether or not Matt's still lyrically talented/should shut up has died down... I too was wondering if a link of some sort could enter my PM box. I liked the other joke songs (Downloading Blues, Seriously Serious) so maybe I'd enjoy this one. If the music is good like some of you say, it's at least worth a listen, aside from just "collecting" MG songs. It seems a lot of rock artists are singing about stupid whores these days (whether or not there's a relationship situation that sparked it)... ie. Matt's former rivals - Nickelback. Thanks in advance for anyone who PMs me.
  2. looks kind of boring to me.
  3. The LOTGA version has too sharp of a guitar sound. Raygun version is more appealing to the ears, imo.
  4. I'm glad for Matt's recent success with the U.S. iTunes, but it's so annoying see all of the immature and ignorant "Matthew Bad" reviews. When Born Losers was a Free Single of the Week, there were so many people on there yelling about how he was a country singer that wanted to be a rock star or didn't deserve to be there because he was established in Canada. I gave my review in defense of his skill and his right to be a FSOTW for the U.S., and it didn't even get published. Unfortunately, he definitely has some opposition to face before he can be popular in the U.S...
  5. It would be sweet if he came to North Carolina. I go to school in Norfolk, VA, so NC is like a stone's throw compared to Philly or Rochester.
  6. Keira-Anne is hot! And has 6 guitars in the background... o.O Imagine if you were a chick and Matt wrote a song about you...
  7. *shrug* Even if he converts some of the demo songs to a crisper, more commercial sound for a new release rather than an LP, at least we have the stuff in the "original" form. I'm all for any kind of release, but personally, I don't dig hard copies. If he just releases it on iTunes, it will save both him and us money. Unless the music industry shifts toward complete digital download sometime, record companies are going falter anyway... And if it's the autograph you're after on the CD, there have been and will be more opportunities.
  8. You guys have got a lot that I would have said.. so I'll add "to reconstruct the song of your bones" from AOPC.
  9. Pretty comprehensive list ya got there... I don't have Lo-Fi either, but I have the songs.....
  10. I'd say Matt Good alone, because even though there was a combined effort before, Matt was still the frontman, and he always will be. He's progressed a lot in his songwriting and has become a more mature person. I think he's in a better environment now, but that's not to say I don't love the MGB.
  11. USA... don't hit me...
  12. Strange Days and Apparitions.. ;)
  13. Under the Influence, Blue Skies Over Bad Lands, and Bright End of Nowhere best identify with aspects of my personality. With UTI, I wish that things were the way they used to be, with Blue Skies, that's showing my powerful political side, and Bright End is one of the many depressing songs that showcase the underdog in me.. (He's a mouse and he says to just hear him out for that moment if ever because he's so insignificant *sigh*)
  14. Hmm.. well either way, it's not going to be played on stations where I live ;)
  15. The Audio of Being, for sure.
  16. Wow! Matt is so the best. I wholeheartedly agree with him. ;) Thanks for posting this!
  17. Did you not like the country twang on songs like Empty Road and Hopeless?
  18. That is so freaking awesome! I need to do something like that! ;) Toronto is the coolest...
  19. Aww, what a cute picture! But why is there a math LeapPad on the floor, eh?
  20. What would be even cooler if he came to the United States.. I'd go if it's anywhere within 7 hours driving distance of where I live... Or maybe more.. ;)
