  1. I bought tickets to Kitchener because the best Hamilton tickets were all the way back in row K which is like the 24th row(https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/905/10m/origin.media.ticketmaster.com/en-ca/tmimages/venue/maps/tor/10021s.gif). I made my route cross the Rainbow Bridge rather than the Peace Bridge so that I can at least see Niagara Falls, but I doubt I'll have the opportunity to sightsee in TO. I will probably come back up to Canada within the next few years and get tickets to a Massey Hall show (I hear those are sweet!) and do that then. I may be able to convince my bf to consider some extra days, but I'm basically paying for this trip by myself so with tickets, passport, hotel, gas, food, losing money at the money exchange (I am assuming there is one near the border crossing...), it's going to be a real bitch. No gambling for me!!
  2. Ah, well I am definitely trying to minimize costs. I will be driving for 10 hours. >.< I got tix to the Kitchener show - HH seat 35 and 36 in the down stage lift. Whatever that means. ;)
  3. I was asking about the actual venues, but thanks for your input. I'm guessing London's is a pretty good one if you want to go there specifically. Virginia is on the East coast below the capital, Washington DC. Thus I will be coming in through New York. You can't take off work? I mean it's months from now so unless your boss is a complete douche, it seems like a pretty reasonable request. "in a few years" ;) Lucky. How about NEVER for me. *cry* Unfortunately, I need 2 tickets sitting next to each other, but I guess it would be a little easier to drive to Hamilton and Kitchener from NY than London or Sarnia, so thank you for the advice. Why would you suggest going to 2 shows, though? That's kinda breakin' the bank material.
  4. And you would know because you listen to Chinese folk music? ;) Sounds cool.
  5. I'm debating which venue to purchase tickets for. Imperial Theatre (Sarnia, Ontario) Centre in the Square (Kitchener, Ontario) Hamilton Place Theatre (Hamilton, Ontario) Centennial Hall (London, Ontario) They are all kind of in the same area and since I'm coming from the U.S. I don't mind driving the extra few minutes. Does anyone have any advice on which to chose/which is the best venue/how likely will I be to get decent seats? Thanks in advance.
  6. 10/10 You're cute! It makes me happy just looking at your avatar. ;)
  7. Thanks for the advice ToadMan and prototypeperiah. Are the Vancouver seats so shitty because he lives there and the demand is super high?
  8. Still 10/10 for the wuwu (my little sister calls them wuwus). At least you can have it and not have to take care of it. Sort of like how people play with their relative/friend's baby for a day and then they give it back haha. I actually don't know what colour my hair really is. I have been dying it blonde, grey, brown, orange, burgundy, red, auburn, green, blue, purple, hot pink, bleach, etc. since I was 12. ;) Sorry to disappoint.
  9. 100000/100000 AWWW I love dogs! It looks so fuzzy and I want to pet it! I have more of a face now, I think. I just like showing off my hair. haha. Edit: lawlz.
  10. 8/10. everything is white! It's blinding!
  11. I have that little friend, too. ;) Thanks uglyredhonda and Jarrod.
  12. Right on! Down with the old man!
  13. The one good thing about Baltimore: the aquarium! YAY! SPOILER: SPOILER (Highlight to View) I learned that babies come out of vaginas on a trip back from that aquarium.. Good times!
  14. 5/5 for badass sunglasses 5/5 for BEACH TOYS!!!!
  15. That's so funny! I wish I could have seen that. The site update looks nice, ne?
  16. Lol what? I think it's generally understood that 98% of women like men. As for me though, I can dig the ladies too. ;)
  17. Jesse Spencer:
  18. That's a pretty funny poster. Quite tricky. ;) You seem to be quite knowledgeable on this subject, uglyredhonda! I'll still get the Passport to be safe; I might want to travel again in the future and it seems like it would relieve some of the hassles I may experience. Did you also rent a hotel room when you went? I will be 19 when I see the show, but in the U.S. there are some restrictions on hotels. Are there any in Canada? I keep google-ing it in different ways and nothing seems to come up. Canadians feel free to answer, as well!
  19. Mhm. I researched it and they do have an Expedited service that takes 10 business days from the date that they receive it (which comes out to about 12 days in the end). That costs like 9149173491771$ though, so I won't be doing that. On that same note, I will be driving there, not flying. ;) Thanks for the heads up on Passport-related stuff. I need to get one soon, but it will definitely be worth it to see MG for the first time!
  20. itt=in this thread?
  21. Yeah, I don't have one. >.<
  22. Thank you very much!
  23. Thanks for the info, guys. If he doesn't go to NY then I'll go to the Hamilton or the St. Catherine's if they have it. Unfortunately I guess that means I have to get a VISA myself.. It says on U.S. and Canadian passport websites that "A visa is not required for U.S. citizens to visit Canada for up to 180 days," but it also says "U.S. law requires that Americans entering the U.S. from Canada by air (including those returning by air from short trips to Canada ) must have a valid passport. This requirement will be extended to sea travel (except closed loop cruises), including ferry service, and land travel by the Summer of 2008." Any Americans (or Canadians, I guess) care to shed some light? It almost seems like I can enter Canada no questions asked (with id and birth certificate) but that I have to have a Passport to get BACK into the U.S.
  24. You didn't anticipate that it would be bad? ;)
  25. Doesn't Matt sometimes do one New York date? If not, Hamilton is the closest to NY, right?
