So I just got this. God damn, I can't stop listening to it, it's fucking excellent. My faves at the moment are Babydoll, Acid Jazz Singer, Lupe Brown, My Friend John. The whole album is great from start to finish though, not a dud on it in my opinion. Very rocking, less quirky than their first album. Check it out.

I don't think Matt can stop touring, nor should he. It is how he makes money. He is not an extremely rich person. He needs to tour so that he can survive. Tough break that "fans" can be retarded but thats life. On another note, being there last night I totally understand that they couldn't play and totally respect that decision. I am slightly annoyed that I got there and paid to get in at about 9:26...if the rain started a couple minutes earlier then I would've just said fuck it and left, but thats just bad luck on my part.

I left before he came out on stage, I heard they couldn't play and didn't feel like standing in the rain any longer. Any idea about a refund? Thank God it was only $15 but I did just spend $15 to go stand in a thunderstorm for about 45 minutes rather than see Matt play. I assume there will be no refunds though.

hahaha...i would give the regular edition of the album about 2 1/2 out of 5 and the deluxe edition probably a 4/5...not sure why these bonus tracks were left off the album proper.

It's a total mixed bag for me...some of the songs are great but some are the worst thing ever... standout tracks: greatest man that ever lived dreamin the angel and the one miss sweeny (deluxe version) pig (deluxe version) shit: everybody get dangerous cold dark world and the rest are pretty mediocre...

Nah, Man of Action has never been played...nor has Double Life.

Back in the day, like early 2001, there was a bootleg (horrible quality) of Carmelina. Definitely the best live version I heard of it, even through all the static of the bootleg. The album version disappointed me at first actually because of it. I do like when Matt brings it out now though, even if it isn't quite the same.

You know, it's weird...I'm not the biggest fan of Time Bomb but when he plays it live it's awesome...gets the crowd going, plus the slow down part that he does when he plays it live makes the song so much better....to me, even if he hates the song, its the perfect song to play live that will please people...I've seen him play A LOT and its always the song that makes everyone around me in the crowd happy...
