i've got one i bought at the concert at aj's hangar in july/2000 in kingston (my first concert), but i've worn it to pieces and would never part with it - sorry... :angry: the letters are starting to do that annoying fissuring thing they do. pisses me of, but meh - how it is with aging worn t-shirts. sorry to post such a disappointing reply - i guess acting a bit as confirmation, for Bladeso, that it was an actual shirt sold by merchandising at the concert. i was so excited and donned the shirt immediately, much to my current boyfriend's dismay. good memories... ;) again, my apologies, and good luck Tim...

I'm afeared. I live (and work) a few blocks from Parliament. There are notices posted about protest marches to the US embassy regarding withdrawal of US troops in Iraq (tomorrow I think?), but I haven't seen anything that seemed more specifically related to Nov. 30th... i've been in a bit of a personal tragedy bubble - time to crawl out to face one of the biggest 'bad men' of them all.

here here. there is vast stylistic diversity to be had in country music (as in all musical forms). the inference that the audience for country music is comprised only of bigoted folk is also a tad asinine. however his creations/art/self emerge, so be it. he has obviously been dabbling with and delving into new styles of musical expression and it's such a refreshing indicator that he's thriving creatively as an artist and as a human being and it's so humbling and inspiring on personal and even universal levels. unless he started producing obviously half-assed material (somehow i can't see him doing this, but hey - never say never), i don't think i could ever lose much respect for his genuine talent and humanness. edit: up to the artist which medium they use. artist, being human, is not immutable; nor are members of audience. we're always evolving/adapting/regressing. so many possibilities. /brainimplode

while they were filming here (in ottawa) i wandered around a lot more than usual trying to 'spot' paul gross. no, not stalk.. heheheh. just spot ;) they had a lot of extra calls; only time i ever wished i did anything of the acting sort, heh. i missed it also as i don't have tv, but am really interested so will get someone to tape it for me or make regular dates with them :angry:

I was elated to hear workers!!! heheh. and i freaked out when he started playing avalanche. That was my first full-body goosebumps. but I wasn't near-tears nearly as much as the last few times I have seen him. I chalk it up to my current state in life of emotional-burnout. For some reason i either didn't remember Avalanche was going to be on the setlist, or it wasn't actually there. But i freaked out at every song, except for maybe time bomb and apparitions, heh. Not knocking apparitions or time bomb by a longshot, but i'd trade them for almost any two others in a second. We also had a couple of mildly drunken jokers in front of us that i could have done without, but when matt's 'going' i can block most everything else out. Also, I MAY have seen you (or someone who looked a lot like you, if that's you in your avatar) when I was on my way out back at one point (assuming you left the 'fray' at some point and were back near the rear bar at some point - i think it was just before matt was on). I just wasn't sure enough (and didn't have the balls!) to say anything. I think you had a beer. And you were dangerously close to the 'back' exit to the women's washroom, hahaha. there's a coat check upstairs... not sure if they use it during 'normal' events though. they used it two nights ago for the bear's birthday bash with the hip and sam roberts. they MADE us use it, actually. but i didn't take a coat, muahahah. i'm sure it's probably used during regular concerts too.
