Apple already partying like it's 1999 ? Or whatever year it was when HDDs were that small?
-
That was basically me. I spent all of 2008 trying to listen to Parklife and Blur, not being able to get it. Then I did. And because lists are the cool thing to do... - She's So High - Intermission, Daisy Bell, Alex's Song or any of their other jokes. - Popscene - Entertain Me - Trouble In The Message Center - This is A Low - Strange News From Another Star - Bugman - Me, White Noise Mind messaging me with this link?

Dunno about you sheep..... but i really do like Matt's postings as of late!
-
Yeah, that's what I thought. Dunno about the vocals tho...I've listened to it loads and I have wondered whether Matt actually recorded the vocals or just used the ones from the demo take, because the vocals have more "bite" (everyone's been using that word) than anything on AoB. Which doesn't sound right at all, considering he had his vocal surgery...
-
Got a question - was Pony Boy recorded during the AoB era? Everything I found seems to point that way, even the music sounds AoB-ish, but the one thing bugging me is the fact that his vocals sound like they were recorded in '97 instead of 2001.

1994 -- Pavement Green Day Oasis Blur Matt Good - would have been cool to see him play his older stuff (it's been mentioned he played them live) Manic Street Preachers. that's about it. -
Ah, it's when he goes 'life's for the livid, so check me tomorrow, we'll see if I'm kidding'. Studio version it's very quiet, it's louder in the live rendition (Specifically Edgefest 99 and 2000. Not too sure if the riff is played elsewhere, it's certainly not played anymore)
-
Another question - does anyone know that little lick played during the second verse of Hello Time Bomb? a really faint one right before the guitar/bass combo kicks in (it's more audible live). How is thatp layed?
-
Snowjob 99, MGB played nearly all of Underdogs (skipped MCG) and Raygun (skipped SLMS and AMR, i think) =o

....Oh >_< -
He mentioned in a blog post from a while back that he barely remembers how to play most of the album tracks from Beautiful Midnight. On a side note, that idea of OLP's is fantastic. Clumsy....it'd be nice to hear Raine try and crack at Car Crash.

Ian's hair turns red somewhere during Everything is Automatic and stays that way for the rest of the video... -
The bridge in X-Rated is freaking solid. Makes me forget there used to be a phone sex excerpt there.

Running For Home.

You can tell just how much Matt's vocals have changed in the last decade just by listening to that rendition of X-Rated. Awesome performance.
-
I wasn't talking about before, I'm sorry. I didn't hear any bass at all, is what I was trying to say.
-
Wow, it's close! It seems pretty good. Although I'd like to say that I don't think it's the lack of ambient noise in the beginning that makes it feel empty, it's the bass ;p

The d-bag isn't the one who told Matt to 'shut the fuck up'. Not excusing his behavior, just pointing out something people might have missed. -
Don't you mean 10 years ago? ;) I'm depressed. I was waiting to go see her in Chicago. ...Get me a free car while I was at it.
