I think that it's a really good idea. You should definitly go for Amnesty, since it is a Matthew Good themed auction, it's pretty much his charity of choice. Jen doesn't really have anything to do with anything except that she's married to him, so no one really cares about her. I also think that eBay would be the way to go. I'm fairly confident that the most money would be raised that way. Just make it a short auction - perhaps one night? Good luck with this.

I like #19. Very funny. I wrote a short story once, based on the song suburbia, and has random quotes throughout. It's not bad, but looking back on it, I ripped too much shit off. (I put everything i quotations and whatnot, but it just seems like too central a part of the story) If I can find it, perhaps I'll put it up.

I'm not a fan, but I have a friend who is die-hard. The new stuff is definitley more listenable.

It was just basically stock footage of shit they play on beg-a-thons for the christian children's fund while bragging about how they didn't spend the normal amount on a video. It's not that great - and I'm sure it wasn't done for 15$, unless (which they probably did) get people's time and labour for free. I know this is going to make me sound like a jackass...make no mistake, I'm glad that she's getting the message out - it's thoughtful, a good song, etc. Interesting way of conveying statistics through monetary units...it's just not the fucking greatest video ever made.

I believe that the possibilty of originality still exists.....
