Israel Is An Apartheid State
therethere replied to Cherry Poppin' Daddy's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
I wouldn't say that Israel is an apartheid state. Sure, many of the Israeli Arabs aren't treated too well by their fellow Jews, but it's not like South Africa where it was a government-instituted program (eg. resettling the black population into the townships). While Israel has it's faults as an occupier, it really can't be called an apartheid state. Besides, most Israeli Jews support the withdrawal from the Occupied Territories. The only reason that it hasn't happened yet is because the religious right in that country is extremely powerful and sees it's right to establish a 'Greater Israel' with old Biblical borders. -
i guess HOSAM still works....nice (goes to get Avalanche CD)

I'll repeat this again. We are not supposed to be reading this blog. Even if you do go there, look at the first post. We are uninvited visitors. Please, please, please delete this thread.

Anarchism, in the real sense, would not work. Humans are too greedy and primarily concerned with self-interest, as evidenced in nature. It would be impossible to make something as utopian as anarchism work. The only way that something like that may be able to work is if control is broken down several levels to a very very small community (eg. a few families). And, seeing our dependence on government-regulated social services, I doubt that we will revert back to that state very soon.

If you look around more, you'd be surprised by how many subsidiary companies Universal has around the world that release their records. Some of these labels are used to cater to a specific genre or group. An example would be MapleMusic, which signs Canadian acts and which is part of the Universal group.

;) maybe the record company reps don't know...haha if you look closely, you'll notice that iTunes says that it's being released via Interscope Records, which I think is one of the American arms of Universal. So, that might be a possible explanation.
