Overdose then. Besides Crazy Town, can't say I've heard of him. -
I think it's a bit different this time. There's a lack of the enthusiasm for Oasis portrayed in Noel's blogs from time to time, and his relationship has been frosty with Liam for ages (when's the last time they've had a laugh with each other ?). There's also the fact that Oasis as a band are getting on a bit now, and it's been a case of how many albums do they honestly have left in them ? Most Oasis fans I've seen have speculated around one or two. I think with Noel's interest in a solo album, and his fighting with Liam maybe they've bypassed the last two. I've read a couple of things that say Liam smashed Noel's cherry ES-355 before the gig, and when Noel realised they ended up physically fighting - reported as the "altercation" - and cancelled the gig.

Can't escape them !

No different to most films then.

Heatwave here in June, and then flooding in July. August has been pretty normal so far.

Yeah and they're gonna use them on us ! ;) They remind me of the inner-workings inside a printer.

haha I am not a Walrus, thankfully !

I'm glad to say we haven't had anywhere near as much sun as we had in mid-June. I like moderate weather.

Chose "My tan sucks, i stay inside too much", because I have little in the way of a tan, but I'm not in anyway arsed - tans are vastly overrated imo.

Suggestions For Improving Torrenting Speeds!
LonelyWreckage replied to Lauren's topic in Tech Section: A Hard Drive at Risk
;) If you ever do give a shit - an easy one: To limit your upload speed Set the maximum upload rate to something small like 10; from what I can gather it basically gives you most of the bandwidth (3/4 in my case) that was devoted to uploading and gives it to downloading, naturally making things go faster. -
Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park!?

Not really. These bands have made some great music, affecting millions of people's lives. The Smiths are an obsession of mine, and have brought a significant amount of joy to my life that I'd have difficulty describing them as "just a band". If you're getting all objective about it, then sure, they're just bands - but then why stop there ? Just a film/just a book/just a television programme/just a painting/just a sport etc. These various forms of entertainment can - and do - bring a lot of pleasure, excitement and even meaning to what can be at times, a very mundane existence.

Suggestions For Improving Torrenting Speeds!
LonelyWreckage replied to Lauren's topic in Tech Section: A Hard Drive at Risk
It's not really a tweak, but I found the most success in "port-forwarding", which massively increased my ability to connect to others resulting in my speeds improving. Whether that applies to your setup, I couldn't say. That and temporarily limiting my upload speeds (40 to 10KBps) until a torrent's finished downloading are probably my only advice, and to anyone properly accustomed with torrents, I'd guess that they're common knowledge anyway ? -
I'm still fairly new to MG/B compared to many of you - unsurprisingly. I got talking to a Canadian lass at the back end of 2005 on an Oasis forum, who sent me a rar of her favourite tracks at the time, amongst those (from what I can remember) were Indestructible, Suburbia, Hello Time Bomb and Alert Status Red. I opted for Underdogs, found it to be just as great as I imagined and naturally worked my way through the rest.

Camera Obscura - My Maudlin Career. -
It was pretty good. Doubt I'd bother watching it again but it kept me interested and I did get a few laughs.

Not surprising. I'm alright as I've read the book (albeit a few years back) so I could work out what was going on, but once again they've carried on their tradition of replacing important explanatory scenes with pointless shit just because it'll look good. Like the Death Eaters torching The Burrow - what the fuck was all that about ? It just took up minutes which could've been devoted to explaining things a bit better (like where Dumbledore had been all term, or what had happened to his hand) or they just changed things for no good reason, like Harry spending the final scene beating himself up about not helping Dumbledore, which in actual fact was fucking impossible as in the book Dumbledore had purposely immobilised him. Who was the lass he met in the cafe ?! Again, minutes taken up by absolute bollocks replacing actual meaningful scenes likes Dumbledore's fucking funeral. Having said that, I probably enjoyed this one more than the others. It didn't feel as rushed as some - namely Prison of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire; there were some funny moments and I managed to finish the film without cringing (although that Dumbledore scene asking Harry about him & Hermoine was close - like Dumbledore would ever give a fuck about that ?! lol) The acting was generally better, too.
