  1. I went to see him the other night, though I'm not really familiar with any of his Cardinals stuff past Cold Roses. Great show, but I don't think he enjoyed it. Fur Patrol - Andrew.
  2. You should check to see if they allow embedding, cos those don't work unless you click the links.
  3. Screenwipe's back ! ;) "It's like a spawning point for enemies in a video game, the sort of place you'd be happy to serve with frag grenades for about 6 hours sending limbs flying through the air finishing off the survivors with a rail gun blast to the temple"
  4. You absolute puff ! I mean, Love Actually ffs. Makes me sick.
  5. Yeah I agree, it's at least partly to have a little break - it must be tiring after so long playing. There's a Smiths DVD where they're followed into their dressing room during the encore, and they were just having a fag and chilling from what I remember. Oh and putting on another shirt, in Morrissey's case lol.
  6. Why ? Life on Mars is pretty relevant to the story. It's actually played in it as well at a key point, if I remember correctly. Can't argue with that, but Life on Mars was never about wonderful production. It had a pretty dark tone throughout. Watched the American trailer a few months back, because I'm a massive fan of Life on Mars and... it was fucking abysmal. I doubt I'll be watching it. Unlike the Office, I think they've just ruined Life on Mars. They've taken out the mystery and it's just a glorified 70's cop show. I don't understand why America needs to redo our TV anyway ? Near enough every programme that's worth watching these days is American.
  7. Depends what you're into innit ? Right now, and not for the first time (excuse the pun), it's Pulp - Do You Remember the First Time ?
  8. ;)   and if anyone wants to watch the embarrassing segment that was playing :
  9. Cocteau Twins - Lorelei (Live on the Old Grey Whistle Test '84)
  10. Had more arse than a public toilet seat.
  11. FFS. Give me one ! As much as I agree, and hope he does trounce Mccain and his shitty oven chips, I don't think we should tell Americans who to vote for, as we Europeans love to conveniently side-step each candidates domestic policies, which are obviously more consequential to Americans.
  12. They're actually Irish - which came as a shock to me as well, cos they sound so American it's beyond belief ! I think they're awful.
  13. Me Fucking limit.
  14. Very much so.
  15. Despite the Smiths being there, and many other bands I like, I can't think of a single thing ? That perfectly describes my position. I don't know why I've heard of them though.
  16. and I stopped in San Antone I passed up the station for the bus... Was trying to find me something But I wasn't sure just what And I ended up with pockets full of dust. (if we were talking in real-life, I'd have sang that in my head when you said those three words in succession.) I LOVE steak, but only when it's well-done. Can't have none of that sloppy shite.
  17. Spot on about the much-needed avatar change. Fucking plastered everywhere you go.
  18. I've never been a big fan of horrors, so I haven't got many to choose from. The few I can distinctly remember are: Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) The Last Broadcast 28 Days Later ...and now Dead Set.
