  1. I agree as well.. I'd also like to say that as an unschooler, It has been drilled into my head that the education system sucks.
  2. Unless if it's made by someone who is on a sugar free diet, who doesn't notify you of this until everyone has sat down with a big slice of it. True story.
  3. I voted for pie... Because banana cream pies own my soul. I'm not much of a cake person though (Only if it's made out of ice cream)
  4. I remember whenever he had to work at Bob's store, Trying to sell the lady the Fridge... ohhh man, that was great. Also the fondue episode... "That's a fon-don't, Bob!" And the one where Hyde makes special brownies and then all the parents eat them...
  5. I know... I bought the first season on DVD from a pawn shop for $10. And it actually had stuff I didn't see before (Like the episode "Eric's Buddy") along with classic episodes such as "Water Tower" "Hyde Moves In" and "The Keg" Oh man, I love that show.. I didn't watch a lot of the newer seasons coz they never got played as reruns on Saturday afternoons... Though I did see the thanksgiving one where there setting up the record store, and Kelso says "It's Thanksgiving. Some people bake pies, we bake ourselves."
  6. More 150 cartoon classics... Specifically the 'Dick and Larry' cartoons, which are early 'Tom & Jerry' episodes from 1932... Ahhh at least it wasn't the cartoon about the cotton plantation... That was pretty bad. along with the one with the lady with the vacuum cleaner/french horn, the dog smoking cigarrtes then at the end: "Moral of the story: A woman's place is in the home." Ahhh, Old cartoons...
  7. When I first came on here I was going "hmmm.. House.. that's alright." Except every once in awhile I'll look up and go "HOUSE IS STARING AT ME... STOOOOP IT."
  8. I like Stars cover of 'This Charming Man' too... Cat Power - Wonderwall Rock City Plaza - Sexyback I mean, who doesn't like a cover of sexyback, acoustic, with violins?
  9. ;) But my mom would see that.
  10. The only bands that ever came to the place I used to live were random pop/punk/Christian bands. Actually one of the guys from a band came up to me and was talking to myself, my sister and a couple friends of mine, then went onstage and I went "ooooh, crap, he's in that band..." So no one worth mentioning mostly... Apperantly some guy from a local-ish (they have a CD out and people across the province said they know them) band lives in my village, though I've yet to run into him. Oh and my grandfather has played at the jazz & blues festival a couple times and is well known around the city he lives in, and I know him. Yep. Noone famous. Too bad...
  11. ;) What did you say in these conversations? My sister told me onetime she heard me talking in my sleep and I said "That was really good... mumble mumble... album" Now I'm slightly afraid of what I may say in my sleep...
  12. Bill Nye The Science Guy. Not that it was the best, but it's pure awesome. I even have the theme song on my mp3 player
  13. Marianas Trench - Shaketramp My sister gets annoyed coz I dance along too (the only reason I do that is to annoy her)
  14. It's one of those great shows that I only ever see in repeats (As with That 70's Show and The Simpsons), But I'm glad it's coming back and I'll be watching it.
  15. I've been reading spoilers for awhile, There's gonna be 4 more cast members...
  16. Between The Bars - Elliott Smith The Good Old Days - The Libertines Anti-pop (It's the line "You're not my girl, You're just tired") David Usher - Black Black Heart Near Fantastica Pilate - Overrated There's alot of stuff that doesn't remind me of anything, just has lyrics that I intensly like (Metric - Love is a place. "The sun becomes her, He agrees") There's probably more I'll think up... EDIT: I'm going to list a couple that bring back some very good memories: Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight Black Sabbath - Ironman The Clash - Janie Jones MC Hammer - Too Legit To Quit ;)
  17. Yeah, they did... They also had a couple guests with them.. I can't remember the first guy's name, but they did a prince cover with him and they did a song with the lead singer of System Of A Down... They didn't show everything that went on, unfortunately...
  18. In Love With A Bad Idea For some reason I mostly listen to it while I'm in a car though... The Stills - Fevered The Stills - Of Montreal
  19. I know, I love Commander Keen! We have 1 and 4 on the computer, But 1 doesn't work so I only really play 4.... Ahhhh the cheats on that one are awesome (so is the giant foot) So many good games... EDIT: I just remembered... LEMMINGS!
  20. You And Who's Army - Radiohead Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking - Snow Patrol For the longest time I used to listen to these 2 songs right before I went to sleep, Though I haven't done it for awhile... It's still pretty good.
  21. I remember that, coz my parents had a game on the computer where I typed in my name there and then the game popped up. Ahhh, that good old (educational) ABC game...
  22. My great grandmother used to laugh in her sleep. Which was kinda freaky if you wake up in a strange house and hear this laughing...
  23. I remember when we had the internet but I was too young to go on it (My parents are both computer programmers, so we had the internet before you had to pay for it.) But yeah, I can remember playing DOS games. Actually, I still play some DOS games... And I never particularly looked to the future
  24. I saw it... Man, that was really bad. My Dad had to leave the room twice, actually he came back because we were all laughing hilariously to 50 Cent's reaction.
