I voted boo! hiss! I hate reality tv more than those people who handed out toothbrushes on Halloween when I was a kid.
-
Won't get fooled again I believe.

Yo! grammar police! the italian mob is in charge here. You best be on your way!
-
Oh, right! it's under wraps. I don't know why I keep forgetting that.
-
Naturally. The italian mob has to stand for SOMETHING dammit!
-
Yeah, what she said! *Runs away*

Well, I remember when that Chris Eng article came up. People started disucussing a previous fabrication article of his about Matt Good doing cocaine in the bathroom. Then, Matt commented about how he'd never done drugs. Or at least hard drugs. I don't remember.
-
I seem to recall him recently saying somewhere that he never has. Then again, I could be mistaken.
-
No, he doesn't. I remember on the metro a while back, someone had commented Matt was on drugs during one performance. He came on and shot that theory down.

My sister (who lives in Vancouver) saw Matt before he was famous. She's really big on checking out the "up and coming talents". She used to spend most evenings at those open mic nights and that kind of thing. Anyway, she used to call me and tell me all about the new bands and musicians she saw. I remember a phone call with her where she actually did mention Matt. I just really didn't think much of it at the time. Then a couple years later she called me and told me that Matthew Good BAND had a record out. That was that. She's still a fan, too. ;)

Yes, I am sending guitarchick a chocolate bar. A promise is a promise after all. I'd also like to point out that she's out of her mind on dope. You crazy kids. Oh, right. Hush, hush. Gotcha.

Hahaha, this is great. We've somehow managed to form some kind of italian mob in a matter of an hour or so.
-
Well you have paid me for my services already. Anyone else you need roughed up?
-
Hmm. Well I suppose that can be arranged. ;)
-
Alright, cool. We'll see what can be done. If not, no worries.
-
Damn freakin' straight. B)

And your candy bar of choice would be...? haha. Thanks! I hope you don't get stiffed either. You may have to rough her up a little.

Okay, so I only just realized that there's a market place on this forum (yeah, shut up). This evening I happened upon the following post: ... Also on the tape is the special that ran on Much Music in the Spring of 2001 called "24 hours in the Life of the Matthew Good Band". Lots of behind the scenes stuff and videos too. My question...does anyone have this? is it possible to get somewhere on the internet? I'd be interested in seeing it. If you do have it and want to share with me (cause you're just so damned sweet), add me to MSN. [email protected] I'd be willing to send you a candy bar of your choice for your kindness. Thanks.

Simon & Garfunkel Fan?

Damn, you're lucky to have been exposed to such good music as a kid. My parents are insane and think pretty much any music is the devil's work. Oh, childhood was fun I tells ya. -
Simon & Garfunkel Fan?

1. When I was about 18-19 years old. My uncle played me one of their records. 2.Brilliant lyrics. They write the kind of songs that leave me in a philosophical state of mind for hours. Also, the music is incredibly calming I find. 3.Bookends -
Haha, good good. All is well then.

Ok, my point is that there are those "fans" who are only there because they have a crush on Matt & like one or two songs. Obviously, if you feel the music deeply...you're not one of those people. Again, my comments were not directed at you specifically.
-
I'm glad im 15 then! and... i really can't see matt's music as not being part of my life in the future. it's pretty much all i listen to and it means so much to me. sounds crazy, but i know you guys understand. I'm very sorry, should've worded that better. I wasn't picking on you specifically. I was referring to those 14-15 year old screaming girls you see at concerts. You know, the ones who yell out "I want to have your babies!" etc...and have no interest in anything but Hello Time Bomb. I have no doubt there are many younger fans who appreciate the music on a very deep level. Again, sorry for that.
-
Yeah, I would think perhaps a few 15 year old girls would drop off the fan-list here and there. Other than that, everyone I know is pretty much in it for the music. I honestly don't see that changing. That being said, I must go pack for my honeymoon. Costa Rica awaits me! wahoo.
