What Did You Last Watch On Tv?
mbrinton replied to Shiri's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
I rarely watch TV, however I download Kenny VS Spenny and it is absolutely the funniest thing I've ever seen. I just watched "Who Can Win A 10 Mile Race". -
Finishing Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut Then moving on to I Am Legend by Richard Matheson (to read before the movie comes out).

Resident Evil 3. (I work at a theater, advanced showing) very very meh. Entertaining for what it's worth but if your a big fan of the video games its kind of a let down.

I usually hate comedies, but this one was pretty good. I actually laughed out loud when he said he "drew dicks". Which is a rather big deal, because I never laugh out loud.

but... Simpsons wasn't funny, and Knocked up DID suck... I'm so confused!!!

If they do, do it, they are probably just going to write the script 3 hours ahead of filming like it seemed like they did the second. I mean, come on! Galactus as a giant cloud? WHAT THE HELL!

Compared to the original it was rubbish, and should be thrown in a bin. Things as good as Halloween should be left alone.

Smokin' Aces last night for the millionth time. Still very very good.

If they make a Grindhouse 2, I hope the two directors are Sam Raimi and David Fincher. Sam because he is the king of B-movies and David because he is just an amazing director. I thought the book Fight Club was dark when it came out - the movie made the experience so much mroe intense.

I work at a movie theatre; I watch about a movie a day. 300 was definatly not over hyped if you were a fan of the graphic novel which it dead on compared to. The absolute latest one I have seen was Disturbia. I thought it was rather bland but interesting enough to want you to keep watching.

Hey Geoff, did you (or any other members of the band, for that matter) hold anything against Matt for the band being named "Matthew Good Band"? When he left the room were there talks of mutiny and a change to the "Geoff Lloyd Band" or possibly "Dave Genn Band"? Or were you guys cool with that? But seriously, the guy wouldn't even give you guys a name! Not like Chris Isaak and the Silvertone; it was just Matthew Good Band. How deadly would Matthew Good and the Jelouse Bastards be? Not very, I know.

In Regina, Saskatchewan, The Wolf plays alot of Matthew Good and the Tragically Hip. One time I heard Indestructable, Poets, and Alert Status Red all within an hours time period.

The 9/11 part of the movie didn't play an overly large roll in plot development. Really, they could have just as easily replaced the words "9/11 attack" with "car accident" and it would have been alright that way too. But the 9/11 attack aspect does play a vital roll in just how Adam Sandler's charecter gets so torn apart over it. I wont say much, but it was a internationally broadcasted event, and car crashes rarely take place on live television.
