  1. haha. sounded great ;) there's nothing much to be shy about though. When I met Matt, I figured I'd be really shy, but then we just started talking and I felt so comfortable around him... he's a cool guy to chat with. he'll even autograph your stuff for you (but try not to get more than one thing signed at a time. i've heard horror stories about people wanting everything signed at once). I got my Avalanche signed! I was able to get 3 things signed when I met him. He signed my Matt Good Soccer Jersey, Avalanche poster and Avalanche record. It was actually me and my wife so i guess one item was for her. And then in the end i forgot to ask him to sign my advance copy of WLRRR. aaaaarrrrgh
  2. I was just wondering how many people have the Avalance album on vinyl. It seems like there is a hell of a lot more then 1000 copies out there. And I was also curious as to who would be picking up WLRRR when it comes out on vinyl?? ;)
  3. I am sure most people know this but for those who don't.....Holly McNarland was actually in an MGB video. Quick... who knows which one??
  4. Actually i did notice that. When we got to meet them at the sound check they looked okay up on stage but then when they came down they looked like they were about 50.......
  5. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed how lame that the rest of the band was on stage at the shows. Maybe it was just the show i went to (Ottawa on the Sunday), but while Matt was flailing around stage the of the band was just standing there moving nothing but their hands. I realize the drummer can't do a whole lot sitting back there but Rich and ?? (I can't remember his name right now) just didn't seem into it at all for the show i saw. Just wondering if they had an off night or maybe that's just the way they are?!?!?!
  6. I remember going to see Matthew Good at Greg's place in Chilliwack, BC for about $5-7 bucks. I still think the tickets for the recent shows were pretty resonable though. I like going to the smaller venues to see shows it is a lot more intimate. And that would be another reason for the high ticket price. You get less people in each place, so you have to charge a little more to be able to put on the show.
  7. The craziest thing I have done is probably getting this stuff framed. I really liked the work this framing place in Ottawa did for The Bear's rock auction so I took some of my stuff to the same place and had them frame it for me. It ended up costing about $1000.00. I almost SHIT when i heard the price. It's a good thing they invented the credit card............. I have also flown from Ottawa back to Vancouver for a show of his... but at the same time i visited family so i guess i killed two birds with one stone there.
  8. Well this used to be Matt Good on my wall. Right now it is just on my floor becuase i am in the middle of moving. But when i get to the next place it will also have the Avalanche Tour poster hanging next to it that i was able to get signed at the Ottawa sound check. I had asked him to sign it something like "I am not really an asshole" becuase i planned on hanging it next to the frame, so he wrote "that shirt was the worst idea i ever had".
