So, I know that there's the Edmonton bootleg in the setlist thread, and I did a search and found an old thread on live recordings that had a bunch of dead sendspace links, but I was wondering if we could get together a thread that collects all the full-length bootlegs we have of MG and MGB. Everyone loves a good live recording right? I have a MGB bootleg from Germany I could upload (and will when I get my computer back) but if anyone has any others, load 'em up (ooooh, bad song pun)

So, I've been thinking lately about Matt's distaste of The Audio Of Being. Since seeing Matt live a couple times in the last few weeks and going back and re-listening to all his material, I've decided that I think Audio Of Being is my favourite MGB album (commence the ridicule if you must). But, I know that Matt doesn't like the album, is this just because of the band conflict while recording? Or does he have an issue with the songs? Personally, I think songs like Man Of Action, The Fall Of Man, Advertising On Police Cars and The Rat Who Would Be King are some of the strongest songs of his career. So, does anyone know what Matt's take is on the music of the album? Conversely, what's the attitude on The Bored like towards the album? Do people here share Matt's opinion on the record, or is it well-liked here? Just a little something for discussion.

Don't get me wrong, Montreal was very awesome, it's what motivated me to go again last night. I just thought last night was a far better show.

I enjoyed tonight MUCH more than Montreal. Maybe it was because i had a better view, but tonight the band just seemed way more "on". Loved Champions, I was dying to hear it in Montreal, although I have to admit, I really wish they had played Giant after the chanting, but I see why they didn't. Great to see I'm A Window and Alert Status Red as I missed the last couple tours since Avalanche. And, I can safely say, between tonight and Montreal, I've seen all of Vancouver live. My verdict - Last Parade, Great Whales, Volcanoes, Trees, Fought To Fight It, National Anthem and Empty's are all far better live than they are on the album, but I prefer the studio versions of Explode, Impossible and Nights. Just my opinion though. Can't wait til the next one.
