  1. The only thing I have off that list is Beth Orton: Comfort Of Strangers This site I came across has The Cribs studio albums: http://susrocks.blogspot.com/ As for the other stuff, there's this place I love: http://totallyfuzzy.blogspot.com/ You just type in whatever artist you're looking for in the search box and it comes up with whatever blog has uploaded that artist and tells you what the albums were. It's awesome. Sorry I can't help with the other stuff... meh. EDIT shit that picture was huge sorry.
  2. These have both already been posted but I just did a 320 rip on both for a friend, didn't want just one person downloading it. So have fun with these kids. HQ. Smashing Pumpkins - Adore Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
  3. Audio of Being is ridiculously good. Obviously my favourite.
  4. The Cure - Disintegration The Cure - Faith The Lovin' Spoonful - Daydream
  5. Actually after I posted in this thread, I bought Pet Your Friends for $1.99 used... Counting Blue Cars is probably the only good song on the album in my opinion. Unfortunately. But hey, at least it was only two bucks wasted.
  6. I don't think "growing with an artist" also entails being a fan of everything that he/she does. That's just not possible. You can't force yourself into liking everything.
  7. Thanks so much Chrissers. I'll let you know what I think. Aaaand I've been uploading tons of stuff for a friend, so here's a couple things people might enjoy: The Pretty Things - Emotions http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pretty_Things "The Pretty Things is a 1960s and 1970s rock and roll band from London. They pioneered a raw approach to rhythm and blues that influenced a number of key bands of the 1960s British invasion, particularly The Rolling Stones." This band was basically Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards plus two dudes Dick Taylor and Brian Jones before they were The Rolling Stones, but they sound pretty different. David Bowie covered "Rosalyn" and "Don't Bring Me Down" by them on his cover album Pin-Ups. I really dig this album. This is for my fellow prog rock fans. If there are any, ha. If you like King Crimson, you'll probably enjoy this. U.K. - U.K. Also I bought a bunch of Gin Blossoms CDs used. I thoroughly enjoy the songs "Hey Jealousy" "Follow You Down" and "Till I Hear It From You" even though they all sound the same. /rant And for shits and giggles because I know no one is reading this here's an interesting article on the music industry and the future of music in general. HERE
  8. I don't know if this one was mentioned... but Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars
  9. Ha I haven't heard of any of those.
  10. Alright, listening to the Jens Lekman now... it's alright. Seems to be getting better as the album goes on. His voice is nice, but I haven't decided on the lyrics yet. Chris, you should post some of that Bracket shiz you've been listening to.
  11. Ha, just let the kids do their thing. That's probably the most ridiculous thing I've read today besides the newspaper.
  12. I think I was one of the few people who liked the more recent stuff. It wasn't that bad.
  13. Yeah, for real I'm with Chris. If you don't like something you shouldn't lie about it. Hospital Music is really not up to a lot of what I've heard before from Matt... I'm not going to say it's a fantastic album when it's not in my opinion. What the hell.
  14. East West Blast Test was weird. Coltrane was amazing... never get bored listening to that. Black Keys was actually pretty cool - I didn't think I would be into it, but it was quite bluesy. I can't remember if I've already upload this band, but they're sweet so whatever. If you like XTC or Crowded House, Squeeze is sort of a combination of the two maybe. One of my favourite songs is on this album: "Pulling Mussels (From A Shell)" Squeeze - Argybargy
  15. The music.
  16. I buy a lot of stuff like that used... nothing wrong with that.
  17. That article doesn't convince me any more of wanting to hear it. Oh well.
  18. This is the best thread ever on this message board no doubt. Has anyone ever heard the band Green Milk For The Planet Orange? Also, I try to leave feedback but it feels like I'm the only one doing ittttt. Therefore, I haven't listened to the Coltrane or East-West Blast Test Yet (downloading now), but The Kinks was awesome, and The Smiths s/t is classic. So thanks for them both Shaders.
  19. It obviously won't work that much anyway because everyone loves it. But it's the next one I like the least.
  20. Yeah, I'm with you. I just know if someone I care about smoked I'd be pretty pissed. But I'd let them do it anyway if that's what they wanted to do.
  21. Happy 100th page to Shade's thread. Edit, here's a fun song to listen to: The Ventures - Walk, Don't Run
  22. Is the album going to be stuff she wrote?
  23. What if it's someone you care about?
  24. I'm voting off Champions as soon as Odette is gooooone.
