Black Helicopter (demo)- Merry Xmas Everyone
Russell replied to icantremember1989's topic in Matthew Good
The one thing I don't like about this song is the Xbox part. It just seems wrong. -
At least they recognise him for that instead of Load Me Up or Hello Time Bomb...

Absofrickinlutely! I couldn't agree more! Anton: Woot for Ballad of Serenity! -
I know about 3 people who are even aware of his existence. I don't know why. They all know Hello Time Bomb and Load Me Up though, they just don't know who plays it.
-
I've listened to it again and again. Not one word has a single one of his voice quirks. He has a very distinctive voice and that's totally not it.
-
That's....him??.. You are sure? *Listens* No way dude. It can't be. I demand proof.
-
totally li-fi b-sides! (I like stupid websites) EDIT: Your real pick is a good one. I agree.
-
I don't think it sounds like him at all. Also, None of the male voices in 1999 sound anything like Matt (at least to me)...
-
I was listening to that today. I was rather dissapointed that it wasn't him. Matthew Sweet makes sense.

I agree with that one on both counts. GoF was awesome, though it really could have used more Draco and the Dursleys. LotR was boring, boring, BORING filth. Did I mention that it was boring? I fell asleep in the middle of the Two Towers. At 3pm in the afternoon. I did have enough sleep the night before. This was in a brightly lit living room. TOO BORING

-Symbolistic White Walls -Running For Home -Blue Skies Over Badlands (I love it, but I'm bitter that Near Fantastica didn't win before)

Pfeh, Hitler didn't take Poland over first. Get better acquainted with history you bum and come back when you have done so. Better luck next time.

Edmonton is...well...green in the summer. We have lots of trees and parks. It's lovely, especially in the river valley. Lots of cultural festivals in the summer. Sports seem popular to some (not me but I observe it...more than a few fanatics). People will probably praise Whyte ave for being great, but it's just a bunch of teenie-bopper bars these days. It used to be great. ;) Whyte DOES have a few reputable tattoo/piercing places though. Other areas of the city have them too, of course. A couple great vegetarian/vegan restaurants on or near Whyte ave. So it has a few redeeming qualities. Rent ranges from 450-900 for a one bedroom apartment. There may be some cheaper on the north side but I've never really looked there. For a 1 bedroom expect to pay $550-600 for something convenient/nice. For a 2 expect $700. I don't know about taxes since I don't own a house/property. ETS (public transit) is decent. It sucks if you live on the edge of the city, so just don't live there. People complain about it a LOT, but the service is really quite good. Climate? Very nice in summer. Not too many absurdly hot days. Too cold in winter (though global warming or something has been helping us there the last few years, especially this winter. It's like +5 and it's nearly December..). Yes we have Greyhound connection to NWT/Yukon, BC, or east via Calgary.

Well, they're downloaded. That didn't take that long, only an hour (lucky me!). But I'm off to start my day so I'll have to check it out later. Thanks again!

I'd like to see those two have a chat on the show.

Thanks a lot!
