I look forward to Sort of a Protest Song acoustically. I also look forward to the "flying by the seat of his pants" style tour. Unpredictable = good, in my opinion. I hope he plays Fine Art in Edmonton. I have yet to hear that one live and very much wish to.

His blog may be boring at times, but at least he's not some fricking emo kid threatening to cut themselves three times a week to get attention.* *I hope this doesn't offend anybody.

See, that's the thing. The fourth has flaws. The complaints people have are absolutely true and valid. But there was enough good about the movie that it was still good. People should watch movies to enjoy them, not to pick them apart.

There's so many people dissing the latest movie. Stop being jerks and love it for what it is.

*Laugh* oh South Park, how I love thee. -

I find it funny that after seven years of jew-bashing he quits after the single scientology episode. What a hypocrit. -
At last, recognition! (Zoidberg is awesome) Also, it's an acoustic tour. A yummy, chewy acoustic tour. I'm going to go buy some ice cream sammiches now. Bye PS: In what way have you been owned?

I like your style. Not because I think Broken is the best (I don't), but because you came forward and said that your favourite is an "album" that most people here think sucks. It may be a coincidence, but I've been listening to Broken for the last 20 minutes or so and then I came across your post. I do like Broken, just obviously not as much as you ;)

I don't see the point in predrinking. You get drunk faster when you don't predrink. I like being that asshole who is too damned loaded (and far too early in the evening) for his own good.
-
I think there are many of us here who would buy a shitty demo album simply for the sake saying that they own it. Those people are losers. LOSERS. *Cough*

Email me at rgopp at shaw.ca I will send you the song you want. I tend to respond to my emails within 10 minutes outside of the hours of 9am-3pm.

I already did, one of them at least. If you really want to buy the demos, hunt like crazy and buy the original tapes. They exist and can be bought for an unfair price. There are other considerations about releasing a new compilation anyways, such as providing revenue to the other members of his various bands at the time. Add legal fees to that and say goodbye to any potential for profit (not that there ever was much).

Canada: This Union Can't Be Saved
Russell replied to Ravenous Yam's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
no no no no ? As for the oldest country thing, that really depends on how we'd classify a country. Japan is certainly a contender. -
My favourite is also Dancing Invisible. But he'll never sell them. Because almost nobody would buy them. And he hates them.

So long as neither Rae or Stronach win, I'm happy. I'd take anybody, even Hitler, over those two.
-
If it's just a lease, and the families knew this, I doubt they'd be fighting over it. Somebody should inform them of the contest rules. What a shitty prize.

I've listed to some of her stuff on her label's website. She IS good, IMO.

WE WANT TO KNOW NOW

Yeah, I see that as well. If it stays like this for more than a couple of days, then I'll start to wonder.

He has enabled then disabled comments so many times then later brought them back that it has stopped concerning me. He's always back and forth with them. He probably also doesn't want to/can't babysit the comments while on tour. They'll be back. They always come back.
-
That was going to be my answer. EDIT: And sonicspeed05, Family Guy IS overrated. It has been utter crap since it was uncancelled. It had the life sucked out of it faster than the Simpsons ever did.

Favorite Canadian Bands/artists
Russell replied to Quammy's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Blue Rodeo rocks. I love them. One of my favourites for sure. I'm going to have to check out some of these frequently mentioned individuals/groups ;) -
They also open in Winamp 5. Listening to Tripoli right now. My only complaint is that the lyrics should be louder, the music drowns them out. I like it though. You are right about the two voices, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just different ;) Science vs Romance is well done as well. You guys are awesome. I'll listen to the others when it's not bedtime.

No. If you don't like it then you'll never learn to handle the food. You can learn to eat hotter and hotter food, but you cannot learn to LIKE it. Well, maybe you can, but it probably won't happen.
