Generation X-Wing is absolutely stunning. I was blown away when i heard it.

I have the worst heat wave story... It was 35 out and it broke all kinds of records here, but i was working in my air conditioned store so that was all good. But i had to walk home, so by the time i got there i just walked over to get some water. and nothing comes out of the tap. So i try all my taps, and finally i look in my mailbox and there was some water main break so they shut down all the water on my block, on the hottest day EVER. And didn't fix it for two days. I had to stay with my grandparents. I couldn't believe it.

Actually my city has a pretty rad radio station (for now...). It's called Sonic and it won't play nickleback or simple plan ever, plays Matthew Good and Limblifter and actually plays a lot of local bands. It has its share of garbage,but that's really unavoidable. I love it allovertheplace. But there's talk of some company wanting to buy it and turn it into something else.

I think the Savage Garden dude was married to a woman for two years but that was a long time ago. Like....10 years ago.

I actually got my ex into Matt Good which means the only time I have to see him is Matt Good concerts. And it's awful.... It's only worth it for Matt.

I just know that I ended a two year relationship over all sorts of insane reasons once and pretty much all that got me through was actually Matt Good's music. My rock bottom moment was one morning when i just couldn't do anything...i didn't want to be. And then i put on underdogs and listened to prime time deliverance for 2 hours straight just crying my eyes out. then i got up, went to work...and kept going. I hope he has something to get him through.

I don't think anyone has gone through a serious break-up without the bitter phase. It never really helps in the end, but it's just part of it.

Honestly, I hadn't heard of this until I saw this thread. I'm 100% positive this was posted out of curiosity and as a fan I actually just feel really bad for Matt. His music has helped me through some really rough times in my life, and while I don't think picking apart the reasons for it is really justifiable, I think it's absolutely alright to have a thread saying that they broke up. It has nothing to do with me having a life, it's really about me being able to understand where a hero of mine is coming from. If you didn't know they split up, you wouldn't be able to empathize with some of what Matt has said lately.

I'd like to add that the lead singer of Savage Garden just came out of the closet as well. To which I said "He was IN the closet? When was that???" Because while Lance Bass is certainly gay....the savage garden news was the least surprising thing I've ever heard.

I voted for She's Got A New Disguise because I think it is one of my favourite Matt Good songs off of any album. I still like Native Son a lot too, but there's no real contest.

Bah...I like to pretend Scott Stapp is a joke someone is playing on the world. I bought my friend his solo cd as a gift in our neverending "worst gift ever" contest and he took the plastic off, then threw the cd as far as he could. It was the only thing I've given him that he wouldn't even touch and he's got some pretty bad presents.
