It does sound pretty different, but in the parts that matter like the chorus it remains true to the original. I really want to kick myself for missing the Avalanche Tour ;)

A wild pack of family dogs came running through the yard one day.. -
It's amazing. If not many people have it I'd be willing to send it to Crusader for the store. ;)

Worth the purchase? Any differences in sound that were noticable?

Don't make them pay for it Crusader.. I have a gmail account but I give away my invites free or for favors. For example: a girl I know is sending me a postcard from California in exchange for it. I prefer The Moon and Antartica to Good News for People who love Bad News. Is that a good thing? -
So if I wait until the second pressing. I could technically get an actual cd box with cd inserts? ;)

What's so special about a digipack? I've seen my friends copy of the album and it just looks like a normal cardboard packaging.
-
With this post I will be able to download it! Hooray ;) Cheers for new material.

Chipping teeth is painful.. and you can't recover from it. Just have to get them patched up. It should fuck up his performance unless hes on alot of painkillers.

Bootlegs aren't that great.. I'd rather just listen to him live then have to listen to a bunch of drunk fellows yelling obscenities over "Blue Skies over Bad Lands"

I like both times of his career. Can't we just say we like all of his music?
-
That's weird actually... I don't actually hear ANYTHING about the opening acts MG has. Even in the reviews of concerts people just skip right to the "MG was amazing!" part of the review. Heh

"During last night's show I was unlucky enough to have both of my front teeth chipped after the crowd surged during weapon, forcing the mic to hit me in the mouth. The lack of a proper barricade was part of the problem, though the real problem is that a certain percentage of my audience loves nothing more than to act immaturely and improperly. It is, without question, embarrassing to be an artist that attracts such people. To those who were there to enjoy themselves and the music please accept my deepest apology for not returning for an encore. I was in considerable pain." This is off his site though I'm sure most of you visit it daily. ;)

I wouldn't want it to intimate, good sound is a must! One of his big rock shows with him playing to a crowd of 100,000 would be nice.
