I thought I'd try something a little different. Here's what's gonna happen... the person above is going to write a MG(B) song title and it is up to you write down your (serious) interpretation of the song. Then when you're done, add a new song (feel free to repeat song titles) for the next person to fiddle with. Remember, art can mean something different to each and everyone of us... so let's see what we come up with. I'll start: Suburbia

I want those two hours of my life back. That's all i'm going to say. I must say... the writing in the movie was amazing though. Lines like "I think there was a fire here" while standing in a building in an old scorched town, I mean, that's just brilliant. Maybe this'll explain it better:

About two years ago, I came across this indy film titled Jesus Christ: Vampier Hunter. Get this, in the new millenium, vampiers no longer fear the sun... but they have come to fear the SON OF GOD. It's a decent little student film. Jesus, a mexican wrestler side-kick and cheap gore... what more do you need? Check it out...

i agree. the problem with tabs is taht anyone can write them. it'd be great if there was a real By: Matthew Good tab out there.

I was crusing round the mgtabarchive and I came across the "original lyrics" for Near Fantastica.... The pink pills are for your sanity we are buried in the earth because we can

He's a great guy. Whenever I talk about Matt with folks who aren't true fans, they are always under the impression that he's a real prick. They're way off. He's a real kind guy. I've met him a handful of times and I've received a few emails here and there. His interaction with his fans astounds me.

Crash was a good movie, I'll give it that. Would I say it's a great movie? No, no I wouldn't. Would I say it's the best picture of 2005? No, no I wouldn't. Thoughts?

"In a world where more people vote for their next pop idol than their own president..." Yeah, umm, imagine a world like that ;) It looks like a good satire.

*backs away slowly* i got nothing. Tool sold out instantly for Toronto because the Hummingbird Centre's fan club (circle of friends) had pre-sale tickets available two days prior to the official sale date.

You know, I use to have a lot of trouble getting into WLRRR for such a long time. It was way too rock out for my taste. I thought Matt is best suited for ballet-y rock songs... that being said, after learning WHY he made the album - as a hommage to old unplugged rock and roll bands he respected - I had a greater appreciation for the music. also, i found that rooms made me crave a good rock-out tune now and again.

If there's any myspacers out there, I managed to make a 19 page three word story that made sense in a "shwa" group. Let's give it a whirl. Here's the dealio, add the next line in the story, but it can only be three words. It can be as random or as goofy as you want, but try to keep it on track so we can see how long it can go before breaking completely. Out of story talk can be bolded. Here we go! There once was...

Is anyone else excited for the new album? Apparently he really lays into Bush and the whole anti-war in this one. His vocals are so distinct, and his lyrics are so captivating. He's an all around great artist in my opinion.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but does anyone else see the similarities between Maynard and Matt Good? Yes, their music falls on different ends of the rock spectrum; however as people I find the similarities obvious. Both are known for their sarcasm. Both speak up against the "norms" of society. I'm not sure, Tool is one of my favourite bands. In fact, it was my first love before MG. Their sound is like no other.

I actually bought the poster and had it plaque mounted at Staples Business depot. It cost an extra $15, but it was definitely worth it, especially since it's signed. If you got a copy of the poster and want it to last, I suggest taking it in for mounting.

I've always wanted to hear Matt play: - I, The Throw Away - Life Beyond the Minimum Safe Distance - The Fine Art of Falling Apart luckily, in the most recent Toronto show for the Acoustic tour, I was able to see 2/3. I, The Throw away wasn't played.

Mine is definitely hopeless. It's too country/rockabilly. It just doesn't ring out as something that matt good would sing. I need to be in the right mood for "Middle Class Gangsters" too.
