  1. In waterloo he talked about some childrens show where this recluse clown lives in the woods and has a bottomless pit in front of his house so any unwanted visitors plummeted to their deaths He related to the fact that we used to laugh about that kind of thing and now we pause and reflect and explain to the kiddies what death means doesnt sound funny but it was
  2. yeah sockcrotch, Luke Doucett showed up to the waterloo show and played guitar during Melissa's Set, he also produced her album, and then during hurt he came out and played guitar and sang with the others.

  4. She was definately an ample opener, but when her and Luke Ducett came out and played Hurt with Matt I was amazed, I bought her EP and its not bad, doesnt compare to her live though
  5. In 1996 i was 14 and A friend suggested we check Matt (with band) out at a now demolished club in Kitchener called Mrs. Robinsons. We arrived at the venue and found out it was sold out and 19+, therefore we did what any mischevious kids would do and snuck in. Big Wreck Opened and they were awful, now I like big wreck now but then they were shit live. Then Matt came on something about his performance stuck with me and I couldnt stop humming the closing track which if I recall was symbolistic white walls, So I went on the hunt and finally found last of the ghetto astronauts at a little place called Encore Records and absolutely fell in love, To date I've probably seen about 20 Matt Good shows and I own almost everything he has released.
