I find my self skipping over certain songs he has released such as In a World Called Catastrophe, Hello Time Bomb and Load me Up. They are just sooo over-rated especially Hello Time Bomb
It definitely depends on my mood but for the most part I love the slower stuff and can listen to it at pretty much any time. If I want to get pumped up for something then I would listen to a song such as Oh Be Joyful! As for the slower stuff I have way too many faves. With regards to the acoustic songs he released on his greatest hits cd
I really like the following line in Rico.....
If your friends don't like it you can tell them for me to fuck off, Fuck off, Fuck Off, FUCK OFF!!!
I just wanna say that to people sometimes (the fuck off repeatedly part that is).
& also the following from She's Got a New Disguise...
what will it cost to buy you back,to buy your eyes, to buy your smile. Well she wants to be the same, she wants a new name, she wants a new disguise.
Sometimes when I am in a really bad /weird mood  I put on a really upbeat Matthew Good (Band) song that just gets me pumped...so I was just curious to see if anyone else does this, or am I just a huge nerd  hehe. I have composed a small list of songs for a poll which I feel can lift my spirits by blaring them and singing ;) at the top of my lungs
Today I would have to say Annabelle....Just a little stressed but then again listening to MG always makes me feel better.
"this life is just a dream, you get out of bed, put on a happy face cause crying never solves anything."
I love the following lines....
baby every noe and then ain't it good to be alive(Song for The Girl)
five fingers, one of them lets you know (Oh Be Joyful)
put on a happy face cause crying never solves anything(Annabelle)
Go on vacation and drink beer And try and forget all the ways...We let ourselves get away (Bright End of Nowhere)
well she wants to be the same, she wants a new name, she wants a new disguise (She's Got A New Disguise)
someday your head is going to turn and you'll realize i'm missing, do you realize? (Suburbia)
these are off teh top of my head, I am sure there are many more...
I am extremely disappointed that this show will not be rescheduled .I have been a Matthew Good fan since The Last of The Ghetto Astronauts and I have never seen him do an all acoustic tour. I was extremely excited when I heard about this tour but I had missed out on purchasing tickets for the April 8the show. When I found out he decided to do another date on April 3rd I was ecstatic. Although I completely understand why the show was postponed in the first place I was really looking forward to seeing one of the best Canadian artists out there do an all acoustic tour. It is unfortunate that it will not be rescheduled after all.
