It's ok, I've been to lots of great shows (including Halifax last night) - there are always going to be those that don't measure up for whatever reason. I'll be at Massey Hall next week and am really looking forward to that ;) I'm really glad that you enjoyed your first show though :angry:

I was right at the back. I turned up quite late as I was watching Leonard Cohen and then I had some issues getting into the venue, so there wasn't really anywhere else to stand. I had a good view, it was just the constant chattering that was a pain.

From what I can remember the order was different, but it was mainly the same as Halifax except ... Main set started with Giant and encore with Champions of Nothing No Avalanche True Love Will Find You in the End added before Apparitions Everything is Automatic was the middle song in the encore and no It's Been A while ... So songs you didn't recognise ... I'm a Window and Put Out Your Lights. It wasn't the best show for me. I was surrounded by people talking throughout the show and every time I moved there were other people talking.

Hmmmm 10-12 weeks is surface mail so will probably take over a month to get to you. Can you change it to 'Expedited' shipping option - that's normal airmail and should be under a week even though they say 2-4 weeks.

I totally forget to grab a setlist - I'm not happy with myself. However, as I recall the songs were these. wasnt there a couple song where he mixed it up threw a couple together? like Avalanche - Lulluby for a new order - Avalanche ... or was I hallucinate from my little nap earlier on. I still cant get over that intro... great visual effects! I don't remember lullaby for the new world order at all. I'm pretty sure it wasn't in there. It definitely wasn't on the setlist. I know that Avalanche went straight into Tripoli. And Life Beyond the Minimum Safe Distance went straight into something else (Prime Time Deliverance maybe?) and She's In It For the Money went straight into SOAPS. I LOVED the mirror ball. Unfortunately my attempts to take photos while it was on didn't really work. ;)

I don't know if they were checking people for cameras at the door, but quite a few people were using them inside (myself included) and I didn't see anyone stopped from doing so.

That was an amazing show and the venue was gorgeous (though rather lacking in leg room where I was sitting) Did anyone get a setlist? As of now, it looks like the Vancouver shows are all still going ahead. Anything could change between now and the showtimes, but it's looking good. ;)

I've spoken to Matt about this a couple of times. He said that while he'd love to do it, it's all down to record companies and things, and since he's not on a label over here, it's unlikely to happen. If I remember correctly as a Canadian act you have to get some recognition in the US before the UK will even consider you. I think he mentioned trying to do something direct but it was too much hassle. So I wouldn't get your hopes up - save your money up and take a trip to Canada - it's well worth it!
