  1. I bet she goes into politics.
  2. They're also being sold at shows for $30 I think.
  3. No problem! It's easy enough for me to pop them into my phone, and I snagged a list from the stage last night, which made it even easier!
  4. Blake also said that they are touring across the US in the spring time.
  5. Also, talked to Blake after the show, and he said they're drawing from about 42 songs for this tour.
  6. I did get the setlist, yes. In terms of starting times, I think it really depends on the venues. I'm sure a lot of places he's playing this tour are like Massey Hall, which is a union hall, where if you play past a certain time, you have to pay huge overtime fees. In Calgary, Mother Mother started at 7:30, played until 8:05ish, then Matt started around 8:30 and played for about two hours.

  8. Thanks man! Setlist will be posted again at http://www.twitter.com/anoceanpearl following the show.
  9. And I will be going again, and posting up the setlist.

  12. I saw MGB play three times while touring BM, and never heard it. I don't think it was done often at all, much like "Let's Get it On". EDIT: Though looking at the very early shows on mattgood.imgarbage.com from that era, it did seem to be played fairly regularly, so color me mistaken.
  13. Personally, I would rather he play similar venues to the one he's doing this tour, charge the same amount of money, and make it abundantly clear that he's going to be playing "album tracks" for the most part.
  14. If you could record part 2 next week, that would also be swell.
  15. During the acoustic tour at the Jack, I was sitting in center orchestra, basically on the aisle of my row, and recorded a lot with a video camera and wasn't harrassed at all. My girlfriend was told to put her camera away during Mother Mother's set last night, but when Matt hit the stage, she took pictures no problem. I think this ranks up there among the best performances, despite a couple instances of forgotten lyrics. The band was tight, the arrangement of the Vancouver material worked well for a four-piece (especially Empty's Theme Park!), and it was great to hear A Single Explosion, which is one of my favorite songs. Matt's banter was hilarious, as usual, and they all seemed like they were having a lot of fun on stage. I think one thing that many people don't mention/realize, is that Matt is fantastic at pacing with his setlists, which really helps to draw you into the show. Can't wait to go back on Wednesday.

  17. Heading it in a few minutes to the show. Setlist to follow! For anyone who is on the twitter, I will be posting the set after the show from my phone: http://twitter.com/AnOceanPearl Or I suppose anyone can just look.
  18. Generation X-Wing Man of Action The Vancouver National Anthem The Future is X-Rated Running for Home Radio Bomb Fuck you for this matchup, I decided "The Boy Who Could Explode" by coin toss 99& of Us is Failure Haven't Slept in Years (LOTGA, due to vocals being better)
  19. I usually put them in my phone. Notepad feature FTW.
  20. As soon as I get home from the show tonight, you guys will get a setlist!
  21. I have now gone through the MW2 campaign on regular and hardened difficulties. Must try veteran.
  22. Personally, it's one of my top 5 favorites, and among the best Matt has written. As soon as I heard it when Matt was previewing the HM tracks before the stream, I fell in love instantly.
  23. I'd say the fact that Matt's a pretty big Joy Division fan is a part of it ;) I also don't remember hearing that song in Donnie Darko.
  24. Started playing Dead Space. Creepy shit, but loving it.
  25. Kelowna show is cancelled, venue doublebooked. What I'm wondering is if there is any sort of "intro", like when he used Harold Wood during the In A Coma tour, or if they just come out and start playing.
