  1. Matthew Good - Can't Get Shot in the Back
  2. Thomas Dolby - She blinded me with science
  3. Right. Of course. It's totally alright to shell out fifty bucks for a terrible re-issue if the band is good...
  4. Beatles - Don't Let Me Down
  5. Different, that's for sure. If you are picky about vocals being good, you might not like them at all. Check out the 'Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain' album. I can send you some stuff, too, if you want.
  6. Is there an opener or just PJ? This will be so fucking sweet, I thought I would have to go to the states to see them.
  7. But I like Pavement more...actually I don't even know any Jeff Buckley material, so I can't really argue the value.
  8. Edmonton has a new station that is run out of a trailer by the highway called Sonic, and they are pretty good. They actually play the Pixies, so I'm happy.
  9. Okay check this out: Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted re-issue: Entire Album, all b-sides, two Peel Sessions, cuts from those sessions, their second EP, cuts from that, and an entire live show all over 2 discs. $35 Weezer - The Blue Album reissue: Disc 1 - The album. Disc 2 - b-sides that were availible on every weezer fansite for the last 5 years, and 1 never heard before track. $50. What the fuck is this?! That's a $15 difference that should be the other way around. I mean, regardless of the fact that weezer is more popular, they are still fucking you with that rip-off. Pavement's Crooked Rain reissue was the same deal, pretty much, super loaded. Moral - go buy Pavement albums. For the children.
  10. HOw much is it for a decent recording program?
  11. seven mary three - cumbersome
  12. Rossdale had a solo album after that one. The single was like, 'adrenaline' or something. Dave Matthews Band - The Space Between
  13. Has anyone else heard about Richard Kelly's new movie. Apparently the website for it is the biggest ever created for a movie (it requires a load of free time, and patience, like DD's site did). The movie is being preceded by six graphic novels, with the movie being the final three parts. It sounds pretty cool, but I'm not too sure what the plot is all about. Does anyone have a clue?
  14. OLP is what I call a 'junior high' band, because though when you are in junior high/high school they seem alright, but eventually you just grow out of them. Unless you're a hardcore fan, no offense.
  15. Pavement - Starlings of the Slipstream
  16. Pavement - So Stark You're a Skyscraper
  17. I have an old school Mann copy of the Gibson SG...one day I will have a real one, I swear.
