I just got back from speed city and I got tickets! I emailed the guy from call the office and he told me he just droped off the last tickets at speed city so i booted my ass over there and picked some up. there were a few left so there is still hope if you missed out.

I dont think matt has all that much control over the ages. It is more up to each show to pick if its all ages or 19+. They have to deal with the legal issues. I am just glad call the office is all ages and I feel you pain being 18 myself and being screwed over in the past.

I didnt buy tickets in time from speed city but i bought one off my brothers friend. I am still looking for a few more tickets for buddies of mine.
-
I just downloaded it off limewire, seems to be several copies named either acoustic or remix.
-
Speed cities site saids they are sold out. I didnt buy any and was soo pissed when I found out they were all gone. Then like a sign from God, my brother gets a phone call from a friend asking him if he will buy her ticket off her becuase she cant go for some reason. He knows im a huge fan so he asks me if I had already got one or if I wanted to buy hers. So I have been saved. A bunch of buddies of mine are gonna be pissed that they can't go but at least I am in. I am really surprised that he sold out so soon, being that its an acoustic show and tickets didnt go that fast when I bought them for the last show and they were on ticketmaster. Anyways, If anyone here has any extra tickets, I will take them off your hands but if not, Ill be there alone and proud.

4/10 Just downloaded some of the music and its decent but I doubt ill keep any of it. Dont really like his voice. Oasis -
I dont like to think back to what i used to listen too when I was alot younger. I was into pop and really mainstream in the early 90s. But I have been general rock since then. I have not changed much since i converted. I went into alot of classic rock and know I love all rock. I just got into Matthew Good about a few years ago and know Hes my favourite artist.

I still need to buy ticjets for london. I hate that I cant buy online and I have to go donwtown to buy some.
-
Ya, I dont think he will release anything this year, as he is focusing on the tour and still trying to figure out how to approach the next record. I think it will be in 2007 when the next cd is out.
-
radio_bomb, that is one amazing list rite there. Solid top to bottom. Ending with The Rat Who Would Be King and Avalanche would bring down the house!
-
I did not know that, and know I would like to see it but maybe not hearing thewickernightmare.
-
Breath Of A Nation and Black Helicopter are amazing and I am sure he will play them. Some old LOTGA would be great too.

I have been thinking what songs Matt could play on the Tour. Ovioulsy, all the rooms songs, but what else. On his blog he says he will play So Long Mrs Smith. Ive been listing to other songs and thinking if he could pull it off, and there are many. But then again, I wouldnt have said he would do Hello Time Bomb and he did that in rooms. I am really hoping for Avalanche as it is one of my favourites and he didnt play it last time in London. What other songs would you guys like to hear?

I have listened to a few of her songs and They are all either acoustic or could easily be play as such. Seems pretty good.As danson said, I hope people are expecting this acoustic style and dont screw it up. Matt said on his Blog "make sure you drink a lot of water before coming so that you do have to go at some point, as I might be a while." Hopefully its a long show cause Id be there all night listening to him play but others may tire of the slow pace of acoustic.

From what Ive heard from this album, it aint too great, but the sound quality is shit. I love the old guns n roses, they are just amazing, but without slash, axle cant do it alone and it will lack the amazinbg guitars that they are known for. As for Velvet Revolver, they were decent, but lacked the greatness of the past. As for thsi album, I am with you guys and Ill believe it when I see it in front of my eyes on a shelf at futureshop but other than that, good luck. But even then, i wont buy it ;) -

Well, she is gonna be opening for matt on the tour so I am wondering what everyone thinks of her. Have tey seen or befor or like her work. I personally have never seen or heard her befor today, so I downloading songs as I write this to check her out. The songs are all very acoustic which is fitting for the tour. So what is your input?

Tickets go on sale for London tomorrow so i gotta go pick em up. I have never been to call the office so It should be a great time.
-
I agree with you jarrod, loser anthems is an amazing album especially considering that its basically made up of b-sides that didnt make audio of being. Even though it was at the end of MGB, 2001 was amazing for music with loser anthems and AoB.
-
lol, I just made this exact same poll thinking yours was for fav song, not album but anyways, ill go with avalanche like i did in mine.
-
They are all available on p2p networks, most are pretty easy to get but some take patience. Rodchester Kings is a band matt was in before mgb. It was a folk band, and its very different from his latter work. I would recommend getting it off p2p as well.
